'Minnesota is home to the largest Somali population in the West... I'm sure this is just a coincidence.' A Minnesota commission tasked with redesigning the state’s flag faced significant backlash on Twitter due to allegations that the new design closely resembled flags from territories in Somalia, an East African country. The proposed design includes an eight-point North Star, along with a tricolor stripe (blue, white, and green) symbolizing elements reminiscent of the state’s geography, including mountains, water bodies, and the sky. In a separate tweet, End Wokeness added, “Minnesota just replaced its official state flag with a new flag that...

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two months after the start of the Israel-Hamas war, hundreds gathered at Eaton Plaza in downtown Fresno on Friday afternoon to raise the Palestinian flag. Hundreds gathered to watch the flag raised at Unity Park as their national anthem played. "It represents the triumph of our collective efforts to amplify our voice and shed light on the plight of our brothers and sisters back home," said a local Palestinian-American. "Today we send a message to the world: the Palestinian people will not be silenced."

While gun controllers like Shannon Watts react to Wednesday’s shootings by pushing a red flag law for Maine, it should be noted that the state already has a yellow flag law. A yellow flag law allows police to petition to have an individual’s guns removed. On July 1, 2022, Maine Public Radio focused on the state’s yellow flag law, suggesting it “could be a model for gun control” and noting the law had been used 22 times to take away guns during the previous two years.

WASHINGTON, DC: Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib found herself at the center of controversy on Monday, October 9 after a January photo resurfaced showing her proudly posing alongside a Palestinian flag outside her office in the US Congress. The image had originally been shared in response to Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's efforts to ban the Palestinian national symbol in Israel. However, it gained renewed attention in the wake of recent attacks by Hamas in Israel. In her January post, Tlaib had emphasized her Palestinian heritage and railed against what she referred to as an apartheid system in Israel. "Palestinians...

The flag was "quickly taken care of" by a DPS Tactical Marine Unit, Olivarez said. It was emblazoned with "Robenz," according to images provided to Fox News Digital. U.S. Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Texas, commented on the video of the flag being taken down. "Don’t mess with Texas," he wrote. Texas is seeing a large increase in migrants, many from Venezuela. Thousands of predominantly Venezuelan adult illegal immigrants moved into Texas and gathered under a nearby bridge in Eagle Pass last week. The flag, which resembles the Colombian flag, was planted on the small island near Eagle Pass, Texas which borders...

The historic Gadsden flag is at the heart of a controversy involving a twelve-year-old boy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The child was removed from the school due to a patch on his backpack featuring the flag. The school district defended the action and claimed that, despite its historical symbolism, it is now considered racist and connected to slavery. Not only is the flag a historical image originally unconnected to slavery, but the action (in my view) contravenes core free speech protections. The flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden of South Carolina in 1775 as a symbol of the defiance of colonists to British...

VIDEO Thanks to a CLUELESS school administrator in Colorado, Gadsden flags are about to experience a YUUUUUUUGE sales boom. If the Gadsden flag triggers liberals so much that they want to remove a 12 year old school kid from class for the thought crime of wearing it as a patch, it serves as a big incentive to display more Gadsden flags because folks now know that it really really IRKS the left. The funniest part of the encounter was the administrator obviously not even knowing the NAME of the Gadsden flag since she refers to it as the "Don't Tread...

DENVER, CO — A local 6th grader has been suspended and sent home from school after he was found to be in possession of a history textbook with an offensive image of an American flag on the cover. "This imagery is unacceptable," said Marsha Jackson-Rodriguez-Ketanja, the school's principal. "How any young person could possibly believe that a school is the proper place to bring this textbook is unconscionable. History class is intended to be a safe space where students can be protected from all images that have origins in slavery — like this offensive, awful flag." The boy, Tristan Lupascu,...

Matt Lavietes reports for NBC OUT that a Californian business owner was allegedly shot and killed for displaying a pride flag. "The far right has repeatedly linked the flag to the decades-old trope that links gay and transgender people to child abusers who want to 'groom' or sexualize children," Lavietes writes, "a trope that has recently had a resurgence." Here's Lavietes messaging Chaya Raichik, the woman behind Libs of TikTok, inviting her to comment on "criticism that your online posts about the LGBTQ Pride flag have incited violence, including and similar to the California store owner." Whenever journalists write "critics...

A woman undergoing treatment for breast cancer has been dropped by her medical clinic based on “hurtful remarks” they allege she made about the “LGBTQ community.” Marlene Barbera, who is scheduled for a mastectomy later this month, had commented on a trans pride flag she had seen in the waiting room of the Richmond Family Medicine Clinic in Portland, Oregon. Speaking to Reduxx, Barbera says she had written her Doctor a note last year objecting to the presence of a trans pride flag she had seen in the clinic’s reception area. “I wrote my Doctor a MyChart message all about...

anti-Zionism, antisemitism, BDS, Conflict history, Media Bias, The I/P conflictThe colourful Twitter history of PalestineSocial media sites such as Twitter portray a wonderful history of a state called Palestine – but first let us quickly remember the truth. The historical facts:For the Islamic world, the area of 19th century Southern Syria was a sparsely populated forgotten backwater with rival clans and nomadic tribes presenting a hazardous obstacle for every trip. The weakening of the occupying power (the Ottoman Empire) and growing global trade – resurrected European interest. It was Christian travellers recognising this area as their ‘Holy Land’ that put an...

Toshihiro Mutsuda was only 5 years old when he last saw his father, who was drafted by Japan's Imperial Army in 1943 and killed in action. For him, his father was a bespectacled man in an old family photo standing by a signed good-luck flag that he carried to war. On Saturday, when the flag was returned to him from a U.S. war museum where it had been on display for 29 years, Mutsuda, now 83, said: “It's a miracle." The flag, known as “Yosegaki Hinomaru,” or Good Luck Flag, carries the soldier's name, Shigeyoshi Mutsuda, and the signatures of...

Senate Republicans recently introduced a measure which would forbid the flying of any flag except the American flag over government buildings. Only ONE Democrat voted for it and it missed passage by just one vote. The Democrats voted against this for obvious reasons. The LGBT lobby wields a massive amount of power in the Democrat party, and Senate Democrats know who their masters are. Congratulations to Senator Joe Manchin for being the sole Dem vote. American Greatness reports: Senate Democrats Shoot Down GOP Amendment to Fly Only the American Flag Over Government Buildings On Thursday, Senate Democrats voted against a...
