PRO AMERICA RALLY this Saturday in Seattle. Support Our Troops and our President! Pro-America Marchers will meet at Denny Playfield at 11:00 am. ( 100 Dexter Ave N) just across from Denny Park. We'll march down 5th, through Seattle to the Jackson Federal Building on 2nd Ave. (cross street Marion) Those who cannot march will meet us at the Federal Building between 11:30 and 12:00 for the rally and grassroots planning.

This Saturday, March 1st, is the kick off for Christina Cares, known as "Operation Support Our Troops" at: American Rigging 1370 Vander Way San Jose, CA 10:00am - 4:00pm Activities, fun, information, letter writing, and food is available. All of this activity is in support of our deployed troops.

Who would have thought that conservatives, much less conservative activists, could inhabit the land of Osama-in-Seattle Murray and Jim McDermRAT? But this is the happy truth in Washington. And these once-quiet voices are now out in the streets every Saturday standing up for their Commander-in-Chief, supporting troops with flags flying, and being wowed in turn by thousands of other previously quiet patriots who wave wildly and play their horns like energetic marching bands.

Just got off the phone with Firebrand. The NYPD is jerking us around as usual. We are allowed to go through only on 40th street and will have to converge at the corner of 41st street and 1st avenue.I am updating the hotline 917-387-8865 of any changes. SEATTLE - More than 5,000 people marched from Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood to Westlake Center downtown Sunday, protesting the Bush administration's policy toward Iraq. Congressman Jim McDermott addressed the crowd, telling protesters that Bush is out for war. In a short speech, the Seattle Democrat didn't talk about his recent trip to Baghdad, for which he was heavily criticized by some conservatives. Afterward, he said his critics have nicknamed him "Jihad Jim" because they have nothing intelligent to say. There were a handful of pro-Bush supporters at the rally. I went to the Jim McDermott Town Hall Meeting in Seattle today. A handful of FReepers were there with some excellent signs ("Go back to Bagdhad"). Unfortunately the vast majority of those attending (at least 250) in the packed room were gung-ho supporters of McDermott.
