Islamic terrorists—including two al Qaeda affiliates indicted last year in Kentucky—have entered the United States legally through a resettlement program that helps tens of thousands of “the world’s most vulnerable refugees” start a new life in America each year. Known as the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), it’s a joint venture between the State Department and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Homeland Security agency that oversees the nation’s lawful immigration. The two agencies are responsible for deciding which refugees are granted USRAP resettlement consideration. USCIS is hands on and conducts individual, in-person interviews with applicants to determine if...

Julio Chavez is charged with emptying his revolver into Maurice Parker on May 18, 2007, in Flushing. Chavez then hopped into a SUV, flashed gang signs and yelled in Spanish, former MS-13 gang member Jose Molina said in Brooklyn Federal Court. " 'Yeah, homie, that's how you're supposed to do it,'" Chavez said, according to Molina. "'You see the blood coming out of his head?'" Molina said Chavez then uttered, "The beast has eaten!" Assistant U.S. Attorney Ali Kazemi asked the witness to translate the meaning of Chavez's rant. "That he had just given a soul to the devil," Molina...

Conservatives and liberals alike look to far flung shores for the biggest threats to our national security with good reason. No enemy we face is more dedicated to our destruction than Islamic Expansionists and resurgent communism worldwide has again begun to wage war against American world dominance. But these threats, as real as they are, need to gain entrance to our country to truly achieve their ends and it is through the collapsing Mexican state that they will find purchase. As they do, other threats emanating from within the hollow state of Mexico are even now exacting a heavy toll...

As if the threat of deadly drug cartels in Mexico wasn't enough, some of them are joining forces with Middle East terror groups. "Hezbollah are absolute masters at identifying existing smuggling infrastructures," says former DEA Chief of Operations Mike Braun, adding that the group "is developing relations with those responsible for operating those smuggling operations and then forming close relations with them, so that they can move anything they have an interest into virtually anywhere in the world." That comment comes from former DEA Chief of Operations Mike Braun. He goes on to tell me that the Middle East terror...

The City Council is poised to vote Tuesday night on a resolution that would invite "one or two" detainees to live in Berkeley once they are cleared of wrongdoing and released from the U.S. detention facility in Cuba. It would also ask Congress to allow cleared Guantanamo detainees to resettle in the U.S. The city reportedly has its sights set on a Russian ballet dancer and an Algerian who was a top-rated Italian chef in Austria. They would...

HELENA, Mont. -- An unruly passenger who was removed from an Amtrak train later made a threat that led to the train’s evacuation, an Amtrak official said Tuesday. Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari said Hussein Abdi Hassan, 24, was removed from the train in Browning shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday. While being interviewed by authorities, the Minnesota man “somehow threatened the safety of the train," he said. Nothing dangerous was found. The train was stopped between Browning and East Glacier. Hundreds of refugees who sought shelter in the United States during the early years of the Iraq war are coming under fresh scrutiny from U.S. government security officials for possible links to Al Qaeda's affiliate in Iraq. FBI Director Robert Mueller surprised some terrorism experts Thursday when, in response to a question about threats inside the United States, he said the FBI was closely monitoring Al Qaeda's Iraq-based offshoot. The group has killed thousands in Iraq but had not been viewed as a threat inside the United States. Mueller said the possible threat rested with "individuals who may have been...

ATLANTA -- This September marks the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks. All the hijackers were in the U.S. legally with visas issued by the State Department. Channel 2 Action News decided to investigate how many visas the department still is issuing to people from nations that support radical Islam. Some local politicians find the numbers troubling, and more troubling, who’s among those coming to America. * Faisal Shahzad, born in Pakistan, is charged with attempting to set off a car bomb in Times Square. * Syed Haris Ahmed, born in Pakistan, a former Georgia Tech student, was...

One man suspected in the killing has been arrested, and a manhunt is under way for three others. FORT HOOD, Texas — A pregnant soldier shot during a rampage at a Texas Army post last year cried out, "My baby! My baby!" as others crawled under desks, dodged bullets that pierced walls and rushed to help their bleeding comrades, a military court heard Monday. A soldier had just told Spc. Jonathan Sims that she was expecting a baby and was preparing to go home, when the first volley of gunfire rang out Nov. 5 in a Fort Hood building where soldiers get medical tests before and after deploying.

The Department of Justice today filed an amicus brief in a lawsuit in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where opponents of a new mosque are trying to stop its construction. In the brief, the DOJ declares that Islam is a religion and is entitled to freedom of expression. In a press release, the U.S. attorney for the middle district of Tennessee, Jerry E. Martin, acknowledged that the lawsuit is a "local matter," but that the DOJ wants to "vigorously support" the decision of local authorities to grant the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro building permits. The center, which has been operating in Murfreesboro for...

Jihadist organizations, including Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, have infiltrated America and are carrying out successful influence operations directed at our government and media. Judging from the results, our media is both clueless and sympathetic to the Jihadists’ efforts and our government is so eaten up with political correctness that our elected officials seem powerless to do anything about what amount to enemy espionage and influence operations inside of the halls of power.

A soldier says he shot cell phone video during last year's Fort Hood deadly rampage but that an officer ordered him to delete the footage. Under cross examination Friday, Pfc. Lance Aviles has told a military court that he deleted the two videos at the direction of his NCO on the same day as the shooting, Nov. 5. Friday is the third full day of testimony at the Article 32 hearing to decide if Maj. Nidal Hasan, the 40-year-old American-born Muslim charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder at Fort Hood, should stand...

Where is the outrage? Where are the scores of reporters camped out in the backwater? Where are Christiane Amanpour's histrionics? Why isn't the affable Eva Braun, Katie Couric, flying the burners in from Malawi to star on the Today show, as she did for a fringe pastor? These bee-yatches make me sick. Outrageous. Muslims Burning Bibles LILONGWE, Malawi -- Muslims in southern Malawi have been burning Bibles to protest their distribution in Islamic schools by Gideon's International, a Muslim Association of Malawi official said yesterday.
