President Obama mocked Republican candidates who suggested they'll be tough with Vladimir Putin but “can't handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at a debate†during a speech on Monday. Obama stated, "Have you noticed that every one of these candidates say, 'You know, Obama's weak, he's — people — Putin's kicking sand in his face, when I talk to Putin, he's going to straighten out. Just looking at him, I'm going to - he's going to be'? And then it turns out, they can't handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at a debate."

Al Jazeera’s digital media platform AJ+ posted a Fourth of July-themed video mocking Americans as fat, cheese-eating, gun-toting, pill-popping, racist porn watchers. While some on social media applauded the creation, others slammed the Qatar-owned network for using the holiday “to dump” on America. Social media users got particularly riled up by the criticism coming from the channel owned by Qatar — a country where stoning is a legal punishment under Shariah law, women have second class legal status, writers can be imprisoned for criticizing the emir and abuse of foreign laborers has been repeatedly criticized by human rights groups. The...

On Pearl Harbor Day, Campbell’s got in a lot of trouble when it tweeted out a picture of its SpaghettiOs mascot holding an American flag and asking people to "take a moment to remember #PearlHarbor with us." On NBC’s “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly,” actress and comedienne Natasha Leggero disgustingly joked, “It sucks that the only survivors of Pearl Harbor are being mocked by the only food they can still chew” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Published on Oct 16, 2013 During late-night Capitol lawn coverage of the debt ceiling, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper mocked GOP strategist Alex Castellanos for being "high" after the commentator likened Ted Cruz's shutdown strategy to the rabbit mating rituals. Castellanos agreed with his Democratic counterpart Paul Begala that Cruz is behaving in a short-sighted manner by shutting down the government to expand the conservative base. As such, the GOP strategist recalled a bizarre analogy. "A friend explained to me today, finally, what Ted Cruz is doing," he said. "And I finally understand: He's having bunny sex." While Begala let out...

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney scolded reporter Ed Henry for asking why President Barack Obama is unwilling to sit down and talk with House Republicans — even if he thinks they are wrong. Henry noted that the president has welcomed diplomatic talks with the Iranian regime but not the GOP. “The president called the new president of Iran and sort of opened up diplomatic negotiations. So why not do the same with the House Republicans? You’re at loggerheads, call them,” Henry said. Carney then sarcastically thanked Henry for the “reassertion of GOP talking points.”

On Tuesday night The Denver Post editorial board hosts a public forum on gun legislation at the national level. U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette and Ed Perlmutter, State Sen. Kevin Lundberg, and Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith are among the scheduled panelists. During the question and answer period a concerned Denver citizen asked Democratic Representative DeGette how he was supposed to defend himself under the new Colorado gun laws. DeGette smirked and mocked the senior citizen saying, “The good news for you, you live in Denver. The Denver PD would be there within minutes. (laughing) You’d probably be dead anyway.” Really?...

On Friday, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh praised Pat Caddell, the frustrated Democrat who has often spoken out against the political establishment, for his thunderous speech at CPAC on Thursday condemning the Republican consultant class. Caddell accused GOP consultants of caring more about money than winning elections or principles and engaging in acts that could border on racketeering. Limbaugh said Caddell "launched both barrels at CPAC" and let the Republican consultant class "have it" while blowing "the lid off of CPAC" with what Limbaugh described was a message that "the Republican consultant class is taking the party down the...

But the NBC host seems to have no problem with armed guards protecting his kids everyday where they attend school in Washington, D.C. "You proposed armed guards in school. We'll talk about that in some detail in a moment. You confronted the news media. You blamed Hollywood and the gaming...

Media Matters, the left-leaning media watchdog based in Washington D.C., is prone to employ the controversial and opinionated. Recently one of their senior fellows, MJ Rosenberg, was forced to step down based on a history of harsh, anti-semitic remarks. Now it appears the line has been crossed again. Senior Media Maters Fellow Eric Boehlert has seemingly mocked Patricia Smith, the mother of slain State Department employee Sean Patrick Smith, who recently blamed President Barack Obama for her son’s death.

Individuals of all ages are getting into the upcoming presidential election and letting their freedom of speech run wild. Real Time‘s Bill Maher seems to think a few teenage right-wingers are getting a little too wild with their words, as he rants in the video above. The TV host calls out Caiden Cowger, a 14-year-old with his own internet radio show. He then refers back to fellow teen Jonathan Krohn’s book “Defining Conservatism”.

ABC reporter and global warming enthusiast Bill Blakemore on Sunday condescendingly dismissed climate change skeptics as "denialists." In a piece on ABCNews.com, he called for yet more advocacy on the part of journalists. After noting that confidence in the science of climate change has varied from year to year, Blakemore huffed that these beliefs "don't seem to be responding all that much, [Professor Jon Krosnick] says, to whatever the global warming denialist campaigns may have been doing." Blakemore then lectured meteorologists for not being biased enough: A number of America’s TV meteorologists and other broadcast weatherpersons have been accused by...

A week after picking apart many of the undeclared Republican presidential candidates (including one, Newt Gingrich, who became a declared candidate this week) "Saturday Night Live" turned its attention to President Barack Obama and his perceived showboating over the killing of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden. Conservatives have frequently criticized the president over perceived showboating about bin Laden's death. Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Obama used the words "I," "me" and "my" too much in his first public comments after bin Laden's killing. Then, in follow-up programs, Limbaugh attacked Obama's subsequent public appearances, including one near the Mexican border in...

To no one’s surprise, Barack Obama announced earlier today that he will seek a second term in the 2012 election, complete with promotional video featuring demographically diverse voters just like one and I. Perhaps more surprising was the degree of enjoyment that Daily Show host Jon Stewart took in ruthlessly ridiculing the Obama video, and yes, his failed promises of transparency in his first term. As we’ve noticed before, when it comes to this White House, Stewart is not necessarily the strict left-of-center ideologue that he’s made out to be by right-of-center commentators; The Daily Show has mined the alleged...

Five thousand conservative true believers cheered Fox News host Glenn Beck and other right-leaning firebrands at Right Nation 2010 in Hoffman Estates on Saturday night in a call-to-arms 45 days before Election Day.With his trademark chalkboard behind him, Beck invoked God, the Constitution and Thomas Jefferson. (Snip) He also ridiculed first lady Michelle Obama’s campaign to get people to eat healthier snacks like apples or carrots. “Get away from my french fries, Mrs. Obama,” Beck warned. “First politician that comes up to me with a carrot stick, I’ve got a place for it. And it’s not in my tummy.” Beck...
