God disciplines those He loves. For the nation of Israel, this time of correction is called Jacob's Trouble, or the Tribulation. In Israel and the Tribulation, Amir Tsarfati looks at Israel's rebellion against God before the period of correction begins, the peace and the horror the nation will experience during that time, and the spiritual restoration that will take place when the seven years conclude. Israel abandoned the relationship that God loved for religion which He hates. It is the remnant that survives the Tribulation who will return once again to the relationship the Lord wants. You can find a...

I was listening to a radio ministry called Discipleship Ministries. The late Russell Kelfer is the speaker. He went to his reward around 2000, but his ministry lives on. Today's message is called "And Every Eye Shall See Him." It covers the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation, and I thought it so appropriate given world conditions being what they are. The audio message is about 33 minutes, but once you start listening it's hard to stop. He's that good. If you have a chance, give a listen. I think it will speak to you. God bless.

Are Leftists stupid, ideologically blind, or just preying on the stupidity/ignorance of young people? It's probably some combination of all three, I suppose. There are plenty of really smart Leftists who are ignorant; most Leftists think of people with whom they disagree as evil or stupid, and ideological blindness is a characteristic that describes most Leftists. Then, of course, there are just plain evil people who sell nonsense to these other groups whom they consider useful idiots, in the way Stalin used Westerners who wanted to believe in communism. NEW: Keffiyeh-donning gay activists in Seattle have declared a “homosexual intifada.”It...

A conservative California preacher invited to deliver the invocation as a guest chaplain in the U.S. House last month has drawn the ire of self-identified atheist Rep. Jared Huffman and 25 other House Democrats. Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, who spoke of “a coming day of judgment,” in his Jan. 30 invocation, is described in the Democrats’ letter of protest as a “radical Christian Nationalist who helped fuel the January 6th insurrection and [who] has a long record of hateful vitriol toward non-Christians, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ community.” In their letter to House Speaker...

This is the moment a Met Police officer threatens to arrest a Christian gospel preacher who was accused of a hate crime. In a video posted to YouTube, a group of preachers can be heard protesting their innocence to officers after a member of the public claimed they had made homophobic comments. The person who is videoing the officers says: 'All we're doing is preaching our religion. We've been preaching about the gospel and Jesus Christ [and what] the Bible says in the book of John, chapter three verse 16. 'For God's love of the world he gave his one...

When we talk about the Iranian-backed ring of fire that surrounds Israel on all sides, we focus oftentimes on Gaza and Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Lebanon is frequently discussed, which is Hezbollah’s main power base that is exchanging daily fire, even deadly fire, with Israel. We also have the Houthis in Yemen, harassing shipping in the Red Sea, and very active Iranian-backed Shia militias in Iraq causing havoc, in particular, against US targets. But many times, it seems that Syria is left out of the equation in the larger conversation. Well, folks, let me tell you, Syria remains a...

Although prophecy constitutes almost one-third of the Bible, its importance is constantly downplayed by those who dismiss it as having no practical significance or by those who object to it on the grounds that it is a “fad” that takes people’s eyes off Jesus. Such cavalier dismissals of Bible prophecy fly in the face of scriptures like Revelation 19:10 which says that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Thus, if prophecy is properly taught, there is no reason for it to divert anyone’s attention away from Jesus. In fact, it should serve to emphasize the centrality of...

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that it was the Biden administration’s belief long-term peace in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict can only be accomplished by a two-state solution. Partial transcript as follows: STEPHANOPOULOS: What is the end game here? Do you see any prospect at all – he seems to have been ruling it out, Prime Minister Netanyahu, of some kind of a long-term deal that leads to a Palestinian state? SULLIVAN: Well, the U.S. position on this is very straightforward. The only long-term answer to peace in the region, to Israel’s security in the region,...

The moment when the UK formally recognises a Palestinian state at the end of Israel’s war with Hamas might be drawing nearer, the Foreign Secretary David Cameron suggested Monday. The diplomatic initiative would come despite the fact doing so would reward Hamas for the terror attack of October 7 and defy Israel’s opposition to any such move. Cameron, speaking ahead of his fourth visit to the region since being appointed Britain’s top diplomat in November, claimed Palestinians had to be given a political horizon to encourage peace in the Middle East.

Current events reminded me of these predictions and inspired me to look them up again. If we are currently in "Obama's third term", might Charlie have been correct in his predictions but off target as to timing? Here is an article last updated in 2018 discussing his election 2016 predictions after the fact. The rumors of a possible Michelle Obama run add another twist. It looks like Charlie's original page is gone. August 2, 2015 at 9:30 pm **snip**Donette, I said bluntly on the Birmingham Video that President Obama will not finish his term. I said that he would be...

@fasc1nate In a little-known manuscript written in 1704, Sir Isaac Newton made a bold prediction. Scribbled amongst mathematical formulas and other theological musings is the following text: Newton, 1704 So then the time times & half a time are 42 months or 1260 days or three years & an half, recconing twelve months to a yeare & 30 days to a month as was done in the Calendar of the primitive year. And the days of short lived Beasts being put for the years of lived kingdoms, the period of 1260 days, if dated from the complete conquest of the...

Beloved, indeed, the GREAT DAY of the LORD is very nigh unto us as a world; and as we today live in our EXPONENTIAL godless and lawless day; we must see and possess the Divine ETERNAL REALITIES in ALL things; and apply them all by faith in this very temporal and perishing world for Almighty God's glory (John 1:12; 3:16-17; 10:25-30, Rom. 8:26-39, Eph. 3:20-21, Col. 3:1-4, Heb. 9:27; 11:6; 1 John 3:1-3, Rev. 3:8)! Beloved, indeed, the GREAT DAY of the LORD is very nigh unto us as a world! This ETERNALLY dying world crucially and absolutely needs to...

As we approach this New Year, our world is weighted down with manifold troubles. Yet believers in Christ need not succumb to despair. God’s Word gives us the capacity to discern God’s work in history—in light of the prophetic Scriptures. Jesus, in fact, entreated His followers to engage in this exercise and chided those who were unable to “discern the signs of the times” (Matt. 16:3). Surely, the terror attacks that Hamas inflicted upon Israel on October 7, 2023—along with all that has unfolded since that time—give us much food for thought in this regard as we turn our calendars...

Only about a quarter of American Christians say the Bible influences their views on Israel as the Israel-Hamas war continues after the Oct. 7 attack on civilians in southern Israel killed over 1,200 and prompted an Israeli military offensive in Gaza. Lifeway Research, in collaboration with The Philos Project, conducted a survey asking 1,252 American Christians for their views on the Israel-Hamas war. The poll, conducted between Nov. 14 and 21 and released Dec. 14, has a margin of error of +/-2.9 percentage points. Respondents were asked about what has “influenced” their views about Israel and were given a list...

Imagine you open to the middle of John Grisham’s latest best-seller. Immediately you face unfamiliar names and locations. To make sense of the story you flip to the end. But the ending seems more confusing than the middle. You slam the book shut in disgust. Grisham has really lost his touch, you conclude. This analogy is about as subtle as a sledgehammer. But it illustrates why so many people have trouble with Bible prophecy. To understand prophecy, we should not start in the middle of the Book—with Ezekiel and Daniel—or at the end with Revelation. No, we should begin at...

Flamy Grant, the drag queen who attended this year’s Dove Awards alongside Derek Webb (Caedmon’s Call) and Grace Baldridge (Semler), performed at a Baptist church in Virginia on Saturday (Dec. 2). Matthew Blake is an openly queer man who dresses in drag and goes by the stage name “Flamy Grant.” “I’m a singing/songwriting drag queen named after arguably the most successful Christian artist of all time,” Grant says. “A SHAME-SLAYING, HIP-SWAYING, SINGING-SONGWRITING QUEEN,” reads the concert series promotion from Grace Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. “The comedy queen with the blistering voice, Flamy Grant, is a gospel and roots musician...

So many people ask, “How in the world could this be happening? It is so crazy!” And they are correct. But the bible has been foretelling world events for thousands of years so it makes sense that perhaps it may have insight into what is going on today. A year or so ago, a good friend of mine who owns TheLibertyDaily.com sent me this chapter to read and everything made sense. Here are my thoughts on this chapter and the passage is below the video: 9:51 VIDEO AT LINK.......... II Thess Chapter 2 The Man of Lawlessness 2 Concerning the...

In the prophecy of Hosea of the many reasons why God gives for the judgment then coming upon Israel he notes that central to it is a lack of knowledge. It’s not that the people are dumb, or ignorant, or even that they lack understanding. I’m sure folks were smart and intelligent. It was not as if a rash of dimwittery had befallen the tribes of Israel. The claim then made by the Lord’s prophet was that, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me;...

A father is suing Colarado’s largest school district after he alleges that a school refused to let his children display “straight flags”. Nathan Feldman alleges that his two children have been denied their First Amendment rights at the K-8 Slavens School in Denver. He says that a “straight flag” would represent his children’s beliefs and should be allowed to be hung and displayed on campus the same way LGBTQ+ flags are. Feldman’s lawyer, Michael Yoder, has blamed equality, diversion and inclusion policies in Denver for the “overt sexualisation of content in elementary schools nationwide”. He said that books focused on...
