Spencer St., Ithaca ] allegedly pulling at the U.S. flag hanging outside the police department.""By the time Officer Yetzer parked his car," the paper reports, "Morgan had allegedly replaced the U.S. flag with a 'Jolly Roger' skull and crossbones flag. When the House Government Reform Committee released its report on the presidential pardon scandal last week, the consensus reaction was that it contained little new information on the controversy that consumed the end of Bill Clinton's presidency. But in fact, the voluminous report - it's as thick as a big-city phone directory - is filled with new information. It's just that some of the most intriguing details aren't about pardons at all. Among them are new revelations about the tangled finances of the former president's brother, Roger Clinton. Great article on what we all know already - that with Bill's blessing, Roger Clinton passed pardon requests up the chain, getting hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing so. And gee, it seems Bill and his mod squad didn't do any due diligence to see if they were proper or not. At least this is good source material for those liberals who whine that these storeis only come from conservative newspapers.
