The U.S. House of Representatives narrowly voted against impeaching Alejandro Mayorkas, the Jewish homeland security secretary, after a process that a number of Jewish groups and the White House said was marred by antisemitism. The vote Tuesday evening was 216 against to 214 for impeachment, a stunning loss for House Speaker Mike Johnson, the Louisiana Republican. Four Republicans voted against impeachment in the narrowly-split chamber. Johnson had championed the impeachment even in the face of evidence that it might not pass. Right-wing Republicans have been agitating for a year to impeach Mayorkas, who they say is neglecting the migrant influx at...

I was born and raised in Georgia. I attended the University of Tennessee — the Volunteers — and now reside in Texas, where I finished my military career. I can tell you that there is a ruggedness in the Lone Star State that can be traced back to names like Sam Houston, Davy Crockett, Mirabeau Lamar, Thomas Jefferson Rusk, James Fanin, William Barret Travis, and Jim Bowie. This is the state that was first its own Republic and fought for its independence all alone. Rough men stood on a field and dared the vaunted Mexican cavalry to “Come and Take...

Democrat accomplice media have been misrepresenting nearly everything about Texas’ efforts to secure the border. But it’s time to separate fact from fiction. For starters: No, Texas isn’t flouting the Supreme Court. Last week, the court vacated a lower court injunction that prohibited the federal government from removing razor-wire fencing that Texas had erected on the border. Coverage of both the decision and Texas’ response was replete with errors. For instance, Vox inaccurately headlined its article on the high court’s decision, “The Supreme Court Says No, Texas Can’t Use Razor Wire to Restrain Federal Agents.” And soon after the court...

Up to 1,000 Florida National Guard troops will be sent to the Texas border to stop the influx of migrants, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday morning. The soldiers will be deployed “based on Texas’ needs,” according to a press release on the Florida governor’s website. The Florida State Guard will also be sent to Texas to support Gov. Greg Abbott’s effort to repel migrants at the border — which is the first time the group has been deployed out of state, the release noted. These deployments are in addition to officers from the Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife...

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has made clear where House Republicans will draw the line on any agreement dealing with the border: allowing illegal crossings. “Any border ‘shutdown’ authority that ALLOWS even one illegal crossing is a non-starter. Thousands each day is outrageous. The number must be ZERO,” Mr. Johnson wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Jan. 29. The deal, whose text is set to be released this week, reportedly would permit the president to close ports of entry if illegal crossings reach a certain threshold. One of the negotiators, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), announced on Jan. 28 that a proposal...

As The Doors sang, “This is the end.” As usual, Biden sided with Communist China and the World Economic Forum against the US. Or, if Congress passes this treasonous legislation, The Doors song “When The Music’s Over” seems appropriate and quite sad for this great nation. Under Obama and Biden, we have become an enclave of Communist China and has politicians that would embarras Venezuela’s politicians. President Joe Biden has endorsed a Senate deal to massively expand overall immigration to the United States negotiated by Sens. James Lankford (R-OK) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) among others, saying he “will sign it”...

Use it or lose it. Article V opponents believe America is too corrupt to be trusted with a Convention of the States. They believe We The People fulfilled Ben Franklin’s fears and are no longer fit for self-government. If true, it also means we don’t have any business voting. Thanks to our collective failure to demand Article V Conventions of the States when necessary, We The People slowly, over decades, relinquished our sovereign authority to Scotus.I challenge anyone to explain the practical limits of the Supreme Court of the United States. On paper our system provides mutual checks, but what of...

Don’t Let the Colored Map Fool YouBy J.JohnsonMy tagline on this forum has been visible for some time. Today, as we see national maps that look similar to 1860, perhaps it’s starting to sink in: “We're at war, people. Start acting like it.”. The red state governors have taken their stands, while #45 says in the Braveheart vernacular: it’s time to “Unite the Clans”. But don’t be fooled. This is more than a red state / blue state thing. It’s about the people - folks in blue states getting red pilled at an alarming rate.It happens when you see them camped...

Sternly against the current White House resident’s corruption, these governors released the following joint statement in support of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Texas’ constitutional right to self-defense.The statement comes as the Biden Administration continues to attack Texas and refuses to take action or responsibility for their crisis at the Southern border.“President Biden and his Administration have left Americans and our country completely vulnerable to unprecedented illegal immigration pouring across the Southern border. Instead of upholding the rule of law and securing the border, the Biden Administration has attacked and sued Texas for stepping up to protect American citizens from...

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton vowed to defend the sovereignty of the State of Texas after the U.S. Supreme Court issued an order on Monday permitting Border Patrol agents to resume destroying concertina wire barriers placed along the Rio Grande riverbank. The justices, by a 5-4 vote, granted the emergency appeal from the Biden administration which, according to the Patriot Post, argued “that Texas was — get this — preventing the Border Patrol from doing its duty. That duty, last we checked, was to keep illegals from entering the country.” “The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his...

The Biden administration warned Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott on Thursday that legal action will be taken if the state enforces a new law that allows authorities to arrest, jail, prosecute and deport migrants who enter the country illegally. A Justice Department official said in a letter sent to Abbott that the law was unconstitutional and “contrary to the US commitment of ensuring the processing of noncitizens consistent with the Immigration and Nationality Act.” The law, dubbed SB4 or Senate Bill 4, is part of the state’s Operation Lone Star. It goes into effect on March 5. “SB 4 is...

America’s Founders fought a bloody revolution in order to escape the “absolute despotism” to which they had been reduced under the hereditary monarchy of the British government, a system that Thomas Paine said “laid the world in blood and ashes.” After that revolution was won, the Founders’ singular focus was to create a republic that would safeguard individual freedom and state sovereignty by vesting only limited, specifically enumerated powers in a federal government. The Constitution’s first ten amendments (the Bill of Rights), Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, as well as the Ninth and Tenth Amendments establish clear limitations...

Former President Donald J. Trump is planning an extreme expansion of his first-term crackdown on immigration if he returns to power in 2025 — including preparing to round up undocumented people already in the United States on a vast scale and detain them in sprawling camps while they wait to be expelled. The plans would sharply restrict both legal and illegal immigration in a multitude of ways. Mr. Trump wants to revive his first-term border policies, including banning entry by people from certain Muslim-majority nations and reimposing a Covid 19-era policy of refusing asylum claims — though this time he...

I LOVE THE WORDS OF PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY: "Forcing women in or near land combat will hurt recruiting, not help." "A country isn't sovereign if we can't control who comes in and who's allowed to come in." “I think the main goal of the feminist movement was the status degradation of the full-time homemaker.” “There’s no real substitute for the care of the real mother.”

Algerian officials claim that “multiple” warning shots were fired before its military directly shot at a group of jet skiers who had crossed over from Morocco, killing two of them. The deadly encounter occurred Tuesday after five jet skiers drifted into Algeria territory while exploring the waters around the Moroccan resort town of Saidia. “Given that the maritime border area is witnessing intense activity by drug smuggling gangs and organized crime, Coast Guard members fired warning shots,” Algeria’s defense ministry said in a statement. “After multiple attempts, shots were fired on a jet ski,” officials added. One of the survivors,...

Among GOP hopefuls at the first debate of the campaign season, militarizing the U.S.-Mexico border to keep out drugs and undocumented immigrants emerged as an overwhelmingly popular position—and as the surprising default answer to unrelated questions. When moderators asked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis whether he'd support sending U.S. Special Forces into Mexico to target drug cartels, he replied, "Yes, and I will do it on day one." DeSantis claimed that the president should "use all available powers as commander in chief to protect our country and to protect the people." "Yes, we're going to use deadly force," he continued. "Yes,...

Migrant smugglers are growing increasingly desperate and violent — heavily arming themselves, donning body armor and even firing at US border agents — to get their illegal customers from Mexico to California. The recent uptick in drastic tactics by coyotes, or people-smugglers for hire, includes an Aug. 18 incident in which a Border Patrol agent tried to stop a group of migrants crossing into California through the Otay Mountain Wilderness, US authorities said. A suspected smuggler fired multiple shots at the agent, US Customs and Border Protection said in a statement, claiming the criminals’ desperation is being driven by the...

NORWEGIAN SEA – In a continued sign of transatlantic unity, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) came under NATO command today while preparing to conduct activities in the Norwegian Sea with other maritime forces from Allied Nations. The Ford is on a scheduled deployment to the European Theater. This transfer of authority to Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (SFN) demonstrates the Alliance’s ability to integrate the high-end capabilities of a first-in-class carrier U.S., its strike group escorts, and embarked air wing during a series of planned maritime security activities and training. Norway is the host nation for these...

Youtube video from yesterday of a Congressional press conference outside the US Capitol on the threat to US sovereignty from the WHO treaty by the Biden, the CCP and the globalists. The press conference was put together by Rep. Ralph Norman, (SC-5) and consisted of short speeches by about 18 outstanding patriot Congressmen and several pro US sovereignty leaders, including Frank Gaffney from the Center for Security Policy. The audio is pretty bad until about the 3:25 mark (hint: turn on closed captions.)
