28 March - The funeral of Maj. Cengiz Toytunc who was killed while on duty in Hebron as part of the Temporary Internatinal Presence in Hebron (TIPH) was held in Ankara today. A significant point in the ceremony was the fact that Palestinian embassador Fuad Yasin was not present at the ceremony and represented by minor embassy officials while the Israeli Embassador David Sultan not only attended the ceremony but shook the hands of all Turkish government and military officials at the ceremony and even participated in the funeral prayer.
