At 12:17 P.M. Friday, while I was on a conference call, trying not to think about the trial going on in Kenosha, I got a text message from a good friend. "You called it. Acquitted on all counts." I felt a profound sense of relief. I didn't even realize how tense I have been all week waiting for this. Watching the video of the moment they announced the verdicts on the indictment, I cried with him. I am sure many others in America did as well. I know nothing of Kyle Rittenhouse other than what I have seen this past...

Jury finds Kyle Rittenhouse found not guilty on all counts.

Everyone is waiting with baited breath for the Rittenhouse verdict. So many comments/commentaries on what is going to happen. If he is aquitted, the Anti-fa/BLM/Leftists will riot, claiming that their soldiers were unfairly gunned down/wounded and justice was not served. If he is found guilty, they are still going to riot. The reason is that they are going to claim that their guys were justified in trying to beat up/kill Rittenhouse and they will see that they have advocacy/protection from the government for rioting, looting, destruction of property, and assault/killing of conservatives. It will be open season on conservatives and...

An internal memo circulated to officers with the Chicago Police Department this week notified its force that "starting with the first watch Friday, regularly scheduled days off for all sworn personnel will be canceled." The memo continued, explaining that all personnel "will be attired in the prescribed regulation field uniform of the day, including helmet, baton and yellow safety vest." While the Chicago Police Department's notice to its rank-and-file made no mention of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial taking place some sixty miles to the north in Wisconsin, it's impossible to ignore the fact that the memo comes as prosecutors' attempts...
