Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday said House Speaker Mike Johnson “betrayed” Republican voters after the House approved new aid to Ukraine, threatening to call a vote for his ouster if he doesn’t resign. “Mike Johnson’s speakership is over. He needs to do the right thing to resign and allow us to move forward in a controlled process. If he doesn’t do so, he will be vacated,” Greene said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” After months of resisting putting a foreign aid bill on the House floor, Johnson joined with Democrats on Saturday to advance a $95 billion...

The Chosen – Now Streaming Online I’ve watched The Chosen, Season 1 & 2 and was quite pleased. The quality is very impressive for a crowd funded production. Unlike Gospel of John, which kept very carefully to the Book, there was plenty of creativity employed. But unlike the debacles of Exodus: Gods and Kings (Moses) and Noah, it does not undermine the story. Instead it supports the narrative. Case in point, the clip below is one of my favorite stories – Jesus and the woman at the well. This story has been butchered and reimagined for centuries. Many have assumed...

California is siccing its Environmental Protection Agency on property owners who have private water wells on their land and making them pay based on how much water volume they use, according to a new report. California Globe reported Wednesday that an anonymous tipster produced a letter signed by Natalie Stork, identified as chief of groundwater management program unit 1. The letter advised the San Diego-area resident that they would have to report the volume of well water they used and pay a fee per acre foot of groundwater extracted starting in February 2023.

A 5-year-old boy who had been trapped 32 meters underground in a well in Morocco for four days was found dead on Saturday following a lengthy rescue attempt that had captivated the Arab world. In an official statement carried by state television, Morocco's King Mohamed VI offered his condolences to the parents of the boy, identified as Rayan, as the meticulous relief operation came to a heart-wrenching end. Relentless digging by bulldozers parallel to the well reached the full depth of 32 meters before rescuers embarked on a horizontal dig to reach the boy. In the last stretch, which took...

A large team of Moroccan workers was in the “final stages” of a precarious mission to rescue a 5-year-old boy named Rayan from a 105-foot deep well that he had been trapped in since Tuesday. Workers were bulldozing cautiously to avoid soil erosion, landslides and falling rocks as they tried to reach the boy. The teams could not descend directly into the well because it was too narrow, the report said. As the frantic rescue effort reached its fourth day, the North African nation was reportedly riveted to live coverage of the rescue effort in the rural village of Ighran,...

The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus last week released a music video titled, "A Message From the Gay Community." The video begins with one singer introducing the tune by saying, "As we celebrate Pride and progress we've made over these past years, there's still work to be done. So to those of you out there who are still working against equal rights, we have a message for you." Whitlock dishes on his ESPN exit, Bill Simmons, John Skipper, Deadspin and the Undefeated With that he begins to sing over a lone piano: You think we're sinful You fight against our...

2:08 Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci advised that, in general, the United States is “doing very, very well” in combatting the coronavirus pandemic. Fauci attributed the nation’s success to more than 50% of adults having been vaccinated. He warned the “Delta variant” of the virus leaves unvaccinated people “at considerable risk.”

Today’s exclusive report — being co-published in The Guardian and Jacobin — breaks some big news about Andrew Cuomo helping a major corporate donor potentially immunize itself from future prosecution. As Governor Andrew Cuomo faced a spirited challenge in his bid to win New York’s 2018 Democratic primary, his political apparatus got a last-minute boost: a powerful health care industry group suddenly poured more than $1 million into a Democratic committee backing his campaign. Less than two years after that flood of cash from the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), Cuomo signed legislation last month quietly shielding hospital and...

Sunday's Der Spiegel had a massive expose on the continuing efforts of Bashar al-Assad to build a nuclear weapons plant, which included evidence that Iran is constructing such a plant for Syria in Qusayr, less than two kilometers from Syria's border with Lebanon. The issue came up in the State Department's Monday daily briefing. Disturbingly, spokeswoman Marie Harf said that the United States did not plan to raise the issue in the Iranian nuclear talks, claiming that those talks only deal with Iran's nuclear capabilities and not with Syria's. According to findings of Western intelligence agencies, however, the situation...

Thursday, Aug. 15. Mark this date on your calendar. A very good source of mine says a report from Inspector General Michael Horowitz of the Justice Department on spying and other nastiness during the 2016 presidential election will be out by then. And, I believe, it will be a blockbuster. So investors and all Americans might want to fasten their seat belts starting that week. It could be a rocky ride for the markets from then into the fall.

The Fake News is doing everything in their power to blame Republicans, Conservatives and me for the division and hatred that has been going on for so long in our Country. Actually, it is their Fake & Dishonest reporting which is causing problems far greater than they understand!

The Democrats' best shot at destroying the GOP in the short/medium-term would clearly lay in mass amnesties of illegal immigrants... forget smokescreen BS about green cards and phony half-measures that pretend to do something short of what the Dems really want: once they're here legally, most 3rd-world immigrants will be made citizens and voting (Democrat) soon enough, and anyone who purports otherwise is being intellectually dishonest... Luckily for left, Republican 'leadership' in the House and Senate are more than willing to help them do that, as the US Chamber of Commerce just loves them a bottomless labor market-- and John Boehner's too stupid to see any farther...

Anti-Islam videos posted earlier this year sparked only a shadow of the lethal rage over the “Innocence” film, indicating that Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups have been behind inciting violent Muslim demonstrations and terrorist attacks. All of the videos, seen below, were produced professionally, but the extremely amateurish “Innocence of Muslims” video that has been cited by media as the cause of the past week’s Muslim rage already has recorded more than 10 million clicks. Veteran journalist and former Newsweek senior editor Arnaud de Borchgrave wrote this week that the blame for the violence is not the “Innocence” video...

Revisiting the resilient lifestyle… Things finally collapse, and you go to the basement, start digging out survival gear and freeze dry food. You gather the family around the radio, shotgun in hand and begin worrying about how long the “stuff” will last. OR You get up at six AM as usual, open a bag of your favorite coffee, mixing it 50/50 with the chickory root you gathered in the summer. Opening the spout on the Big Berkey water filter, you fill the percolator you picked up at a yard sale, for 2 bucks. You set the coffee on the woodstove...

Following is an excerpt from a public address delivered by former Lebanese minister Wiam Wahhab at Damascus University. The address aired on New TV on July 9, 2011. Wiam Wahhab: They are trying to scare you that NATO will intervene [in Syria]. As soon as this happens, Syria and Hizbullah will fire 100,000 rockets at Israel. I say this loud and clear. Any NATO intervention will place Israel – not only Syria – in danger.

17 Jews whose bodies were found at the bottom of a medieval well in England were likely victims of persecution, the BBC reported. According to the report, the Jews were probably murdered or had been forced to commit suicide. The skeletons date back to the 12th or 13th Centuries, at a time when Jewish people faced murder, banishment and other forms of persecution throughout Europe. Although the most famous expulsion and persecution was in Spain, England was not far behind. In 1190, the 150 Jews of York, then a center of Torah learning, were burned to death by a church...
