I chose Brute_Force as a handle because of a nickname, but it serves to remind me that all government is predicated on FORCE - ideally a source of fear to the lawbreaker and security to the lawful. Unfortunately BIG GOVERNMENT is an industry in itself, an insatiable monster which aims to control every aspect of our lives if unchecked. Free Republic is a pioneer in the movement to take back control of our own lives and bypass the liberal media who have become merely organs of the entrenched bureaucracy.
