Well, I finally removed the Osama rant since he is now essentially irrelevant. Instead, I thought maybe I would tell you a bit about myself, since I have really enjoyed reading profiles of other people when they give a few personal details.

- Education: Bachelors and Masters degrees from a minor major Midwest university (1978, 1980); in spite of my education, I became a productive member of society with core conservative values (this I owe to my family and my upbringing)

- Political affiliation: Despite the fact that I vote nearly straight Republican, I would still like to think of myself as an independent (whether it is true or not)
