I was born a Conservative when Harry S. Truman was still President! I grew up in the sixties, and trust me being Conservative in the 60's wasn't easy! I wore penny loafers when everyone else wore bell bottoms--a cross instead of a peace sign...Well, you get the general idea. Always swimming against the tide. I love a good mystery (Jack the Ripper is my favorite), old movies (especially sci-fi and horror), and anything to do with history (medieval Europe and ancient Egypt are my favorites). I have been married to the same terrific guy for 29 years and we have two kids. No grandchildren yet, and that's a good thing as neither are married. Heheheh! P.S. I'm really glad to be here!
