No, no Klaus, you will soon be a quaint relic of the past. You draw nearer by the day.

In some ways, he’s not wrong. AI is a threat. It is an uncontrolled technology and the race to dominate with it is similar to nuclear weapons.

It could well be part of prophecy.

That's some big talk there, Klaus. Speaking of quaint relics, I wonder who will eventually be using your skull as an ashtray?

Of course this is a disturbing statement.

But what is most disturbing is that he is so certain that we can not stop him, that he would boast openly about it.

His public statements of late sound like a man who has already conquered the world.

Associated Press as an apologist for globalists and their dreams of future tyranny is knocking down the obvious overreach that is common for Gateway Pundit who is always letting their Mockingbird beak overload their Hummingbird ass.

Schwab discussing a hypothetical future scenario, not endorsing it.

Yeah, he’s hypothesizing that sometime in the future some magical AI (that doesn’t currently exist) will know each of us so well that it can predict how each of us will vote, and thus alleviate us of that burden.

The part that is creepy is that he seems giddy at that eventuality.

The SF book “Revelation Space” imagines a future where everyone has some sort of implant in their head. New laws are proposed and everyone gets to vote via the implants so that laws can be enacted completely democratically instantly.

From Post #10 it appears that Schwab wasn’t saying that AI would pick our leaders for us, but that it would be able to correctly guess who would win an election, and so no election needed to occur.

“great quote to have on hand”

The quote “warm in their seats they were loath to leave them” rings in my head continually whenever I see oligarchs work incessantly to preserve their own power.

There is nothing new in this. It’s been going on forever, as John Adams quote demonstrates. His book was written in 1787 and he was writing about governments that existed a thousand or two thousand years before HIM.

These oligarchs think they’re so clever, but they’re the same old thing.

And the difference is......?????

Everything the left *predicts* it is planning.

AI voting is what they mean by “our democracy”.

Yes. Always. That's how they "focus group" their plans. And it destroys the premise of the "AP Fact Check" (BWHAHAHahahahahaha!!!) posted upthread.

The WEF and all of the other Three-Letter-Agencies that are trying to run the world all believe they are the smartest kids in class. After all, they all graduated from places like Stanford and Harvard where they were smart enough to know to cheat and plagiarize in order to get ahead.

They all believe themselves to be "utilitarians", i.e. trying to set the world up to provide the greatest good to the greatest number. However, who is to decide what the greatest good is? Since they are all materialists, it's all about health to them. They have no care of souls. All they care about is RDA, BP, HDL vs LDL, etc.

Schwab's statement was phrased as a fear, but he secretly may believe it as a hope. In any case, these pseudo-intellectuals with their fake degrees and materialist blinkers on are less competent to run the world than a part-time 7-11 clerk.

Even if we could all agree on what the "greatest good" was, these would not be the people I would put in charge to try and accomplish that.
