I was in the Army back then, and please STFU about the anti-troop movement.
Spitting on soldiers, calling them baby killers doesn't work for me.
It is obvious, you are a sideline stander, and agree with the high minded crowd that "war is bad".
Spare me the, "Oh I never liked the spitting on the soldiers" but I was against the war.
Who did the dying, the soldiers or LBJ?
There's going be a long line of vets for that. She will probably arrange to be cremated.
Yes I'm curious about the viewing numbers. I didn't even know it was going on but for it was advertised during yesterday's golf. And they didn't even have Ricky Gervais as host, which would have at least injected some humor.
He doesn't often get mentioned with Carter and Obama, but I believe LBJ was one of our worst presidents. Greatly increased our commitment in Vietnam with no strategy for victory, micromanaged the war, and on the home front destroyed black families and vastly increased the welfare state which we still live with today.
I beg to differ, Jane you ignorant slut.
The difference to me between Carter, Obama, and LBJ was C&O were grossly incompetent and had no business in the Oval Office, while LBJ did lasting damage to the country. His social programs have done little or nothing to eliminate the problems they were supposed to fix (as usual), and they have resulted in horrible consequences for all Americans. The destruction continues to this day.
I remember once when George Clooney was bragging about how Hollywood led the way by nominating a black woman for an Academy award. What he failed to mention, probably because he was too stupid to figure it out, was that the lady was nominated for the most stereotypical role you could imagine (a house maid on a plantation) plus it was over 60 years before they had their second nominee.
Maybe they were right for the wrong reasons, but the anti-war movement sure was right about a lot of things back then.
I didn’t say they were right about EVERYTHING.
I don’t know why people are so fixated on Carter and Obama these days. I would make the case that George W. Bush was a worse president than either of them — and by a wide margin, too.
I didn’t even know they were on. But that wouldn’t have mattered.
Confidential to Jane: tell the undertaker to dress you in a raincoat. It is going to be a wet eternity.
Love, Yellow Rain
Hollywood, TV land USA has done themselves in....they are finished. No one but nutcases, buffoons, Democrats and idiots pays them any heed or attention. They did this to themselves......By the way, what’s Hollywood? “What DAT”!!!
I remember seeing her movies, at MILITARY THEATERS, from 1966-1969, from Little Rock AFB to Kadena AFB Okinawa.
She was even then on the road to treason but her movies were still being shown.
“the silver coif” this writer is raving about is a wig. It’s obvious. She’s too old to have that thick hair.
Wow. She makes the rules when she’s around others, it seems.
An acquaintance was flying first-class from Sydney to the USA, probably 10 years ago. He came on the airplane and a woman was already sitting in his seat.
He pointed out to the female flight attendant (still pains me not to say stewardess) that he had a ticket for the seat where the woman was sitting, on his own ticket.
She said “oh...she always sits there....I can take care of it.....would you be okay with a different seat in first class?”
He relented, not knowing who it was.....thereby missing the opportunity of a lifetime.
America’s traitor b*tch.
ALL OF IT was “worst”, 1 big tie for Worst!!!!
Here's the snazzy "WORST AWARD" they all received...
