I broke my back in a motorcycle crash and got into the best shape of my life within a few years. A serious injury that does not kill you should put the spurs to you, not tell you to go to seed.
OK, I could run a lot better when I was in the Marines 25 years earlier.
When this story surfaced, it was mentioned the woman suffered a rough car crash about the time she went off the public radar. I’ve seen the effects of chronic pain on someone close to me. It can age you. Especially if the pain interrupts exercize.
“Yep, lots of pathetic he-man women hating club members here.”
50 years of “new and improved” advertising have conditioned us.
Just don’t say her public persona is an intellectual. She made her gravy with thin-and-sexy. A Real World comparison is entirely appropriate.
Almost everyone looks their best in their 20s.
Some improve with age.
But many end up looking like Walmart shoppers.
I’m sorry, I just don’t believe that’s her. Impossible.

Hugh Jackman’s wife too. She is older than him, and frumpy. He had professed his love for her many times publicly despite working with some of the most beautiful women in the world in movies. I respect that.
