I always liked her...gorgeous and she had a certain reserve about her that I liked. But gee.....how did she end up looking like this? Unbelievable! Are we sure it’s her?

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can really mess women up. It's an endocrine issue. Makes losing weight damn near impossible. No cure. Barely any treatment. It can cause infertility, weight gain (with no increase in calories consumed). It's a real PITA to deal with. Dieting doesn't work. Exercise helps, but is frustrating when the weight barely moves.

The real epidemic in this country isn’t Covid — it’s obesity. And it’s killing people with Covid and a myriad of other illnesses. This would have been a perfect time to fat shame our people into health, but when you can call yourself any sex you want, that genie is tough to get back in the bottle.

It isn’t just the weight. A lot of people change drastically as they get older. I know some people who graduated from high school with me 47 years ago, and they are unrecognizable from those kids of 1975. I am too. Letting oneself go also makes a difference, even without the passage of decades. I knew a girl from high school who was very healthily-built and was always well-groomed. It must have taken her some time to get ready in the morning. I ran into her a couple of years out of high school. She had gotten married, put on weight, and really didn’t worry so much about her hair or clothing anymore. Seeing someone like that who had changed so much by her early twenties was more shocking.
Wow. These are great examples for infatuated young men.
