Religious show I saw last night said woke types are devaluing human life by promoting how expensive elderly people are to the health care systems and how much it costs a woman to raise a baby rather than get an abortion. As if the cost effectiveness of human life were the key to morality.

The well-known "ethicist" Peter Singer and others have been advocating this in academic circles for decades. It's been making it's way slowly into the mainstream and is now increasingly popping up. They're still testing the waters right now: This guy quickly retracted it when he got pushback, but it'll keep coming up until the sheep grow comfortable with it and it goes mainstream.
