IMHO,
I think 75-80% is Democrat and ~10-15% Republican (example: News Corp).
But, what happens when you have someone like Trump who is for all practical purposes an outsider that butted in, jumping to the front, pushing long time party members aside who believe it is their turn (Bush, Romney...)?
What will the 10-15% of the MSM that is Republican do for someone like Mr. Trump? Fall in his back and even if rammed down their throat only back him lukewarm while he’s in office.

That guy was a jerkwad sex tourist expat, who sold online “dating coach” advice to desperate loser young men. After Russia invaded Ukraine he found an extra income stream by becoming a Russian propagandist. Ukraine allowed him to do it, but drew the line when he started to provide targeting information for Russia. He was given a deportation notice, but the dumbass came back on his own volition, was given ANOTHER deportation notice and he still didn’t leave and only then was put to prison.

I was referring to the composition of the press. From memory. There was a recent survey of the press. Less than 4% were Republicans. There are older surveys. One had Democrats outnumbering Republicans 5 to 1. Another 9 to 1. I liked the survey question, Do you consider yourself:
A) Liberal
B) Liberal to Moderate
C) Conservative to Moderate
D) Conservative
(A+B)/(C+D)=16
Employees of Broadcast News companies contribute heavily to the Democrats. When Obama first ran for President, 60% of the contributions from Fox News employees went to the Democrats. For the other networks the range was from 97% to 99%.
A member of the White House press corps asked current and former members how they voted. They vote Democrat. I remember one case, because I found it so striking. Reagan too 49 states. Mondale took Minnesota and the entire White House press corps.

I saw some surveys in the past about that as well.
1. I think you have most journalists that are liberal minded and pro Democrat.
2. Then you have the ownership of these media conglomerates who are total globalist party card carrying Democrats.
3. Finally, objective and a fact based reporting has been replaced by sensationalist emotional journaling.
I might be politically right, but I am able to stick to the facts and stay objective, i.e. fair. That is not even something the media strives for today! They are entirely unprofessional and partisan.
People know what they are seeing and hearing is junk for the most part, but they don’t care. It makes them feel good and tells them they are correct or better for holding their beliefs. Are they really supposed when what they were told by CNN or MSNBC turns out as factually incorrect? Not really.
IMHO - people no longer view the news to get the facts or current events. They are merely looking for “affirmation” of their socio, economic, religious, political beliefs presented to them by someone they can relate to (identity: black, Latino, woman, homo, young, old, white, Asian). There is something for every identity block that has societally been carved out.

If I was born with a brain damage to become an open and out Russian spy while living in Ukraine then I would just not brag about it in the internet and refuse two deportation notices.

“Coach Redpill”-s (his internet name) whole thing was to be as pathetic as possible. He was an ugly man with bad hygiene, no charisma and was pretty dumb. That’s how he found the buyers. He said that he knows a secret that makes someone as pathetic as him a sex god and international man of mystery.
He got addicted to the role he played and refused to see when pretend internet world turned into real world.
