Truth is there aren't that many of them. If you look at the voting nationwide this was anything but a rout or a landslide. The nation is just about evenly split between those who get it and those who don't, so it's how the relative few left over decide to vote that moves the sticks.
Time is running out. If we don't get serious about the threat our nation faces it's over for us.

Maybe you need to check Bush's record a little more closely. He and his veto pen do not have a close relationship. Bush has signed everything and anything that has crossed his desk with only 1 exception - and that 1 exception had nothing to do with the Iraq War.
Congress holds the power of the purse through the appropriations process funding the Military (Article 1 Section 8 U.S. Constitution). Working for the Air Force in a Budget Office we have played hell to make ends meet over the last few fiscal years. After the November elections we had a pretty good feeling we were screwed! The statements by this raving moonbat confirm it. I fear for our ability to Fly, Fight and Win in FY08. God help us all if she gets her way.
