Hillary has been the 2008 democrat front runner for about 6 years and 4 weeks now.
I will never understand the stupidity of a good 40% plus of the nations voters, and especially of New Yorkers,

I'm in IN. Usually 60-70% Republican on the Presidential Ticket, but then will give the same % to a Dem Governor or Evan Bayh.
Go figure..

The silent majority better start screaming out loud before Liberals and RINO's destroy our country, our freedoms, and our military.

Hello,
Exactly! We are already seeing some positive signs. But to start a pullout of troops in 90 days will assure our total defeat in Iraq.
What a b***h Hillary is.

Hillary Clinton is on a "mission" to be our President. While I whole heartedly support her "mission" I do NOT support her.

I don't know,, I think she is starting to sound desperate. Almost like she is feeling a little threatened,, maybe wondering in the back of her little brain if she could end up not getting the nomination.

I saw a segment on Hannity and Colmes last night with Geraldo Rivera.
He was talking to a soldier that is in charge of one of the Stryker forces, in one section of Baghdad.
Geraldo was asking how it was going...and the soldier said much better than they hoped...and they showed footage of some kids playing soccer in the street...and the soldier said that anytime the kids feel comfortable enough around the US military to play soccer in the street, that is a good sign that they trust them...
And, they are willing to "live" with having them there.
I know Geraldo isn't a fan of this war at all...so if he is bringing positive stories..they should be believed.

Well, she could could also flash her 'patootie', ala Spears and Paris, if this doesn't get her enough press...

Hello,
I saw that too! It was great to see those kids playing. Also, I heard that the Iraq forces are stepping up to the plate, in the way that they couldn't or didn't in the past. And now, the Dems want to shut it down.
If she/they succeed in this, just what will happen to those kids we saw last night? Their days of playing will be over, permanently.

IMHO, this proves that she knows that the surge will succeed. Can't have a military success by President Bush, now can we?Absolutely that is what the Democrats now see. If they truly believed the Iraq war is such a fiasco, then they would be content to sit back and allow it to ruin him. The additional soldiers aren't even there yet, and the changes in strategies are already producing positive developments, so they are in a hurry to get us out now, before we win.

You are so right.
Part of the problem, IMHO, about these stupid non-binding resolutions is...that it puts doubt in the minds of the Iraqis that are supposed to fight WITH the US military.
If they doubt that we will finish the job...they might not trust US enough to do the job themselves.

Hello,
Excellent point!!
You are correct, if the war was truly a disaster, and continually getting worse, they would let it continue as is, counting the body bags, all with their eye on the WH in 2008.
But President Bush changed the way we are fighting this war, and they can't allow it to succeed.
They must be stopped.

My daily prayer is that our guys will continue to do their jobs...continue to fight and defeat the terrorists despite the Dems...and in so doing, will begin to turn things around, leaving the Dems with egg on their faces. Even now, Bush's numbers on this are inching up! I hope and pray that our nation is still the kind that does not relish the loss of a war..and the way Hillary and the Dems are talking (Shumer "we'll do just like in Vietnam..") they are making sure everyone knows that they want to lose this now so Bush is blamed. They hate Bush for not following their plan...for refusing to think the mid-term elections gave Pelosi the presidency...He refuses to quit, and it's making them angry and reckless.

Hello,
They KNOW that, they can weaken the US forces, the Iraqis that fight with us, our allies around the world, and the citizens of this country, all with a few non-binding resolutions.
It is a win-win for them. (Oh, and our enemies are loving this...)
Makes me so mad, I can't stand it.
