It cannot be stressed enough. The issue of Iraq is a means for the Democrats to attack the President. If perhaps, there was no war at the present, they, with the help of their media hacks, would gin up some other issue, no matter how ludicrous to attack the President. Power is the goal, whatever the issue.

Speaking of the Dems, we didn't hear a peep out of the Pantsuit today, did we? Anyway, Dingy loves his "big position" more than anything else.

"Except for exploiting the war to win an election the "Neo-Copperhead" Democrats never had any plan for Iraq."
Makes a good tagline too ;o)

"The public is saying, 'We hired you to get out of Iraq now figure it out,'" said Tom Matzzie, Washington director of the anti-war group MoveOn.org. "There is a risk that without action, frustration boils over into anger."
Sooooooo,..."The Public" wanting out of the war is Moveon.org?

Their constituents aren't going to be very happy. From the above article: AP-Ipsos polls show that........most people do not support cutting funding for the troops.
Even if your a DEM, you just can't have it both ways.

The surge is already starting to show concrete results.
Looks like even the RATS don't want to look like complete fools.
If they pretend they never said anything about cutting and running, the press will cover for them and the American public is too stupid to even know they said anything about it in the first place......

I grew up in Baltimore (Essex) and Appomattox, VA. When I got my first job outta college in Lynchburg, VA, I used to rent out rooms in my house in order to afford to trek up to Memorial Stadium on the weekends. I can still remember the Chinese take out Dad brought home from a little place on Eastern Avenue, hanging out in the store room at the Taubmans where my Dad worked on days when there was no school, Glenn L Martin Airport, fishing off the bridge near my home, and going down to the docks to watch the banana boats unload. I remember when the Harbor Tunnel opened, and my Dad had to see if he could set a land speed record in his '59 Buick LeSabre going thru if. He got up close to 100 and the tunnel monitors were waving him on - he thought it meant to speed up. We roared out the other side and he had to brake all the way to the toll booth.
I remember that Memorial Stadium was the only place where Black Label beer was drinkable. I have a glove Brooks Robinson autographed the day he retired. Earl Weaver was a classic entertainer for the fans and a great manager. I have his book The Earl of Baltimore. Great stories.

The public hired you because the media successfully portrayed the Republican Party as Jack Abramoff's merry band of kiddie diddlers.Precisely.
There was general dissatisfaction on Iraq as well, but half of it was because people were mad we were not pushing hard enough and getting bogged down in a PC war. Naturally, the MSM spins it their way.

The whole Dem plan on Iraq has collapsed. Bush will carry on, until the end, in Iraq. One can only fervently hope that it, against the odds, that it will work.

Seems that MoveOn needs to take a government lesson.
They don't seem to understand how ours works.
