Last time I went to a O's game (in Detroit) Elrod was still a bullpen coach. The four 20 game winners were Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Pat Dobson, and Dave McNally. The teams that beat the Dodgers and Cincinnati were the best. Should have beat the Mets and Pirates too, but it seems the O's had a problem in years ending in a 9.
Funny story about that Detroit game. We got there early, and John Miller was standing by himself with his microphone and a cameraman looking for an interview. I was standing behind the dugout, and hollared, "Whats the matter John, won't anyone talk to you?" After that every Oriole he approached gave him the "sorry, I ain't got time" brushoff. We were laughing our butts off up in the stands.

In a quantum mechanical sense, satan is represented by the Pauli Exclusion Principle : no 2 electrons in a given atom can have the same n(principal), l(line), m(magnetic) and s(spin)numbers, one of those 4 numbers MUST be different for each electron. Thus the stacking of electrons, chemistry, exclusion, unique names, "turf", HATE, gaussian bell curve of rich to middle class to poor, almost all the facts of the world around you(that is composed of spin 1/2 fermions = electrons, protons, neutrons).
So satan's "house" (hell) is where all the demons are fighting to be TOP DOG, always at war with itself(HOT incoherency = chaos). In wave mechanics fermions interfere as amplitude direct MINUS amplitude exchanged. In other words, always bouncing off each other : a place for everything/everyone, and everything/everyone IN THEIR PLACE. This is very familiar, yes?
The other type of particle is BOSONS, the Bose Inclusion Principle. If there are n number of bosons in a given state there is an n+1 enhancement factor for the next boson to join that state. That's photons, mesons and (putative)gravitons. Bosons interfere as amplitude direct PLUS amplitude exchanged, ie, they like to get into the same state.
Bosons are spin 1 particles, thus 1F+1F=1B or spin 1/2 + spin 1/2 = spin 1. Thus when you PAIR otherwise excluding fermions you get marriage, cooper pair electrons of superconductivity, gravitational bose bonding via matter waves in a capacitance well, the piercing power of the lasar, LOVE.
This is what Jesus refers to : all are one in christ. When you PAIR your physical body with your spiritual body(know thyself, remember?)your uniqueness suffuses into a greater bose LOVE flow, which is ADDITIVE; vs the HATE force which is SUBTRACTIVE. It's sort of like 2^2^2^2^2^2^2.....2^2^2..it just keeps on growing expotentially vs 2/2/2/2/2/....2/2/2/....getting smaller and smaller.
Thus birds of a feather flock together, earth as a gravity ball, the lasar, (COLD coherency), order, PURE communism, LOVE. Play with 2 magnets, repulsion then attraction, it's that simple to see. But now you know that LOVE and HATE are rooted in the tiny world of QUANTUM MECHANICS, or have I confused you too much and you wander away shaking your head? (parable of the seeds)
