Don't think for a moment that the Democrats are going to concede any ground on this issue. They want another Vietnam, and they're going to see to it they get one.

Everyone that believes Reid and the Dems raise your handsAs Rush said last week, the Democrats don't want defeat in Iraq, they own it. This has been an issue for them since the 2004 elections, if they don't get it before the end of the year, it will be a part of their platform in 2008.

if [Democrats] don't get [defeat] before the end of the year, it will be a part of their platform in 2008.Unless we win in Iraq, which is looking more and more likely, in which case their position will be a huge albatross around their necks!

Democrats make a lot more cash from TALKING about doing something, than they do from ACTUALLY doing something...
As long as they bluster, the Overseas 527 cash keeps rolling in....

"While the pubic is fed up with Iraq...", thank you A. P. for your usual agitprop insertion. How could the day be normal without them?? Like "...the increasingly unpopular Iraq war...blah, blah."
Few in the media - few - have given a single day of national service in their lives. They are parasitic political hacks whose total worth is beneath that of a toad.

"The public is saying, 'We hired you to get out of Iraq now figure it out,'" said Tom Matzzie, Washington director of the anti-war group MoveOn.org. "There is a risk that without action, frustration boils over into anger."
Bull. Perhaps you should read the polls, Matzzie. And you better watch it on the threats. The anarchy days of the sixties won't be tolerated this time.

Well, praise the Lord. Maybe the truth and the gravity of the real situation of terrorism is starting to get through to the Democrats.
Their tactic is to delay, delay, delay and hope it all goes away. That was the plan. The war in Iraq has served its purpose in getting them elected; but now that they are expected to deliver on their promises, they can't.
