Precisely. We have plenty of leftist loons in academia on this side of the pond as well. .....way more than our fair share, in fact.

That's funny considering Israeli universities are filled with Tenured Red anti-Semitic extremists. I guess their Israeli leftist brothers in arms are insufficiently extreme enough for them to associate with as colleagues.

“Lecturers back boycott of Israel”

Hmmm...I won’t hold my breath waiting for the American Association of
University Professors (AAUP) to publish a condemnation of this stance.

They should boycott themselves (excellent, biting satire exposing the hypocrites):

Support the Boycott! End the Occupation! by Prof. Steven Plaut What goes around.... A Call for Action Against Occupation   We, Israeli professors for justice and peace, do hereby appeal to researchers, academics, scholars and teachers, in Israel and throughout the world, to take a firm and clear stand against continuing occupation and denial of rights. We are, of course, referring to the continuing British occupation of territories in which Britain clearly has no right to be. We demand that all British universities be boycotted, and all academics at those universities be boycotted, until these same people and We demand...

When I was about 7 years old or so, I learned how to read and write.

The same teacher who taught me those skills used to read a portion of the Bible every day in the class.

One day that teacher announced that the Bible could not be read aloud in class anymore.

I did not understand, but I was young, and there was a lot that I did not understand back then.

Now, I am a grown man, and my memory has always served me well.

There may be loads of things to learn from professional instructors, but also now it is wise to consider the fact that most in academia, have an agenda that can only result in an increase of ignorance.

It is all quite Orwellian.

Palestinian Trade Unions? That’s a joke right?

Terrorists are proletarians too. I wonder how they pay their union dues. In goats?

Obviously this doesn't represent all Britons, or even a majority. But, come now. Do you really consider it apt to compare a Congress of one of the largest (if not THE largest) academic unions and professional orgs in the whole of the United Kingdom to a heavily marginalized group like the KKK?

Pardon, but this seems rather a head in the sand attitude.
