If the election was held today I’d vote for Governor Palin. Still, I would vote for the Republican over Obama no matter who the Republican is. Others disagree and I acknowledge their concerns and know of their arguments, still, that is how I’d vote. In any case, if Gov Palin choses to run in 2012 I will support her in every way possible. She is my first choice.
But about your statement. Having been on Free Republic for more than 11 years, and especially posting this thread for the past ten, I’m not boasting if I said I know the driveby media well. So here’s my answer to you post:
They’ll attack any and every Republican nominee. Just look at last year. When you think about it, from 2000-2007 McCain was THEIR guy in the Republican party! That didn’t stop them one bit, though, when push came to shove, or dem came to RINO, I should say. They then turned on McCain faster than a pitbull trying to eat a toy poodle. He was too old, supported the wicked war in Iraq, just like the EVIL Bush, not a citizen either (to cover for the One), etc ,etc.
So it will go for Romney, if he’s the nominee. Same for Huckabee, Palin, Barbour, Santorum, Hunter, Thompson, DeMint, etc, etc. It doesn’t matter whether they’re conservative or liberal, what matters is they are Republicans—and not democrats.
Now, we should try as hard as we can, once and for all, to rise up and in one voice condemn the awfully biased anti-American Socialist, Leftist big media, driveby media, state-run media whatever name you use to describe them, for the blatant, putrid hypocrites that they are.
Really, what you post illustrates to me is how dangerous the media is to Americans in general and to us conservatives specifically and how they—not the politicians—are the real enemy to us all. Not in any way an attack on you or even your post, but it really got my dander up and started me to thinking about just how awful they are.

The dems have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams and are now in a position to do significant damage to the country as they advance their socialist/communist agenda. They did it all simply by staying unified!

What "Mormon troubles?" Just because you have a problem with the Mormon church doesn't mean the MSM will. The hatred of and attacks on Mormons comes from far right evangelicals, e.g., Calvary Chapel. I wonder what Sarah's view on the Mormon faith is? Also, as for religion, Mitt nailed it in his "Faith in America" speech.
The left and the media also have problems with LDS/Mormons as it does wit religion in general. They mock any candidate’s religion, unless of course it is concerning The One and then it is off limits and actually unknown and un-cared-about.
It’s an equal opportunity thing, the NPR crowd, they sneer at religion to varying degrees. It’s so square. However, when it comes to religious BIGOTRY, the left does not corner the market on that... sad to say.
Hannity had a good couple of days because of the way the two shows handled the Sarah Palin interviews. He is still a long way from being #1 though.

They will try and tie Romney to the Mormon sect where the guy went to jail for the terrible things he did to the young girls. Bring up old things that the Mormons have long moved away from.
To be honest, it never even crossed my mind that I was offending Mormons with that post! Sorry my apologies! Just stating the tactics that I believe the left will use, they said Rev Wright was off limits, but not other peoples faith, it`s just what I see happening. They will look for any way to demonize whom ever the candidate is, they will stop at nothing!

What I had said in the post, ended up offending a Mormon, had not been my intention at all. I was just trying basically to say what you said so well in your post.
