Although they do not seem to be a shrill in their protestations as they were when Bush was president, I can appreciate their not falling under the spell of Obama in this matter.

They are merely trying to build up Obama’s faux conservative bona fides...

Wow - another group has figured out the Kenyan usurper lied to them just to get elected. At least they are smart enough not to be fooled by him a second time.

Nader will run. He needs some campaign bucks to buy another $39.99 “Joliet Special” suit.

Although they do not seem to be a shrill in their protestations as they were when Bush was president, I can appreciate their not falling under the spell of Obama in this matter. If I recall correctly Obama was going to try and bring the troops home quickly. The fact that he wants to increase spending, even if through backdoor means, makes me wonder what he knows that he didn't when he merely campaigning.
We all know that candidates aren't privy to everything. Something must have changed his mind.

Thanks NormsRevenge.
The group of 150 liberal activists, authors, and academics -- including Code Pink's co-founder Medea Benjamin and author Daniel Ellsberg -- Tuesday released a petition announcing early opposition to Obama's re-nomination by Democrats. Many of the names included are Greens and indies, not necessarily Democrats themselves, but they said they intend to "actively seek to impede" his policies on the war in Afghanistan and Iraq as the campaign goes forward.
They also intend to actively support his candidacy and reelection after he runs through the primaries unopposed (although Kucinich might mount a candidacy). This latest move is mere grandstanding. They have no power or influence, and never even bothered to show up to protest the Demwit-dominated congress' continued support for the WoT these past four years. IOW, they are transparent liars, they have no credibility with other leftists, they have no dog in the hunt (they don't run for office themselves), and the MSM is in the bag for Obama to such an extent that, if disgruntled Obama supporters capped some of them, there'd be next to no coverage of the event or whatever made-up pagan burial rites followed.

It is so predictable. I think Stalin and Pravada were more subtle. We live in a corporate kleptocratic media police state.

Maybe Dennis The Menace Kucinich will too.
He’s about to be gerrymandered out of his seat in congress, hehehe.

(although Kucinich might mount a candidacy) Dennis "The Menace" Kucinich is to Democrats what Ron Paul is to Republicans... and vice versa.
