I can be in the company of people of my race most of the time. NO.

I can turn on the television or open to the front page of the paper and see people of my race widely and positively represented. NO.

I can be pretty sure that if I ask to talk to “the person in charge,” I will be facing a person of my race. NO.

If a police officer pulls me over, I can be sure I haven’t been singled out because of my race. NO.

Really well stated. I never watch ( my wife puts on weather and baseball games, I will watch Highway thru Hell —there goes my reputation as being well read and sophisticated). Actually I read for hours each day instead of TV. History,Bible,politics,popular culture,biography.

Do not get a paper nor watch TV.

But, from what I see my wife watching, no my race is NOT widely represented positively. Commercials in particular seem aimed at the negro race, and to shield them from being seen negatively as in never the criminal in home alarm ads.

Whites in commercials seem to be bumbling fools while cool, intelligent negros watch them fumble about.
