Stop using guns in movies. Hollywood has been glorifying gun violence since before there was a Hollywood.
How many movies has he done where he used a gun?
Does he go anywhere without either being armed or having an armed guard?
How about we hold schools and parents accountable for their mentally ill kids who often show many “red flags” over the years and never gets reported to police, mental health agencies. This last incident friends, ex girlfriends, coworkers all knew he was mentally ill, violent, killed animals, etc. No one called it in- if they did, no one did anything. How about we beef up our mental health centers for kids in high school.
People may disagree with me, but I do feel age needs to be raised to 21 to purchase a gun because almost all the shootings at schools were kids in high school. I think we need to raise voting and drafting age to 21 as well.
Society has changed so much from when I grew up in 60’s. Social media, tik tok, the bullying, the ability to post video’s, etc has exploded. A kid bullied, suffering with mental illness in high school, can’t get a gun legally until 3 years after they graduate. Maybe by then they will have got help or not been so angry to just go buy a gun at 18 and kill people.
