I reject him outright, for the same reason I reject people like Tulsi Gabbard.

They are Democrats. They have supported, worked with to develop, and voted with Democrats on all the things that are destroying this country.

There is not one single Democrat-not ONE, I would give even a small sliver of respect to for that reason.

If someone like Tulsi Gabbard came out and specifically rejected the Left (embodied in the Democrat Party) I would at least listen to her.

One of the people I most respect in the conservative movement is David Horowitz, who did just that. He utterly rejected his former, far-left radical leanings. I respect that, because I think that is one of the hardest things to do, to face up to the fact that you supported evil.

That scum Manchin is a lick-your-finger-and-stick-it-in-the-air kind of person, and I cannot stand that type. I have more respect for run-of-the-mill Leftists who are open and in your face about it.

With them, at least the knife that wounds you lands on your chest, not your back.

One suspects that there will be at least one pair of Indie candidates for Nov. Maybe two.

One also suspects that their reason (hidden, because they know they can't win. Ross Perot knew he had no chance.) is to keep the GOP candidate from winning.

If the GOP candidate is Trump, the Indie spoilers will reel in a great deal more votes, ensuring a Dem blow-out.

Real conservatives warned about Lankford long ago. Too bad T.W. Shannon isn’t the OK senator.

Patrick Morrisey is a very reliable conservative; too bad Mountaineers rejected him for Senator in 2018. Will they back him now for governor?

That certainly is a case of the better man didn’t prevail.

Write it off to RINOism, Baptist stupidity or something else, Oklahoma really screwed up by sending Lankford to the Senate.

Almost as bad as Utah, frankly.

Morrisey was a lousy campaigner… he wasn’t going to take our Manchin, might have won an open seat, but no way was he dynamic or engaging enough to beat Manchin.

Manchin was vulnerable in 18, and had the GOP actually had a strong candidate probably would have won. Morrisey, was not a strong enough campaigner or candidate to win against Manchin, and so he lost.

Whoever wins the Republican primary will be the WV Governor.

Not remotely true, if it were it would still be blue.

Manchin was a successful and popular politician and governor. Morrisey was a
Lousy campaigner, and in 28 Democrat had the anti party
Motivation.. taking out Manchin was possible but not with a candidate who was mediocre at best on the campaign trail.. trying to pretend he was MAGA after
Being an establishment guy his entire career… a stronger candidate could have won, Morrisey as weak as he was lost by less than 20k votes… a stronger candidate would have won.
