It is obvious Obama’s anti-Jewish sentiments influenced Biden. Check out these words by Jeffrey T. Kuhner - The Washington Times - Thursday, February 17, 2011:

America has almost never publicly criticized Israel - our best friend in the Middle East and the region’s only genuine Western-style democracy - at the U.N. The reason: The organization is dominated by anti-Semitic, anti-American dictatorships obsessed with condemning the Jewish state. Israel is lambasted constantly while the rampant human rights abuses of other countries - especially Arab regimes, Russia and China - are barely noticed. The United States has opposed this double standard - until now.
The result will be to drive a wider wedge between Washington and Jerusalem. Israelis rightly will conclude that Mr. Obama is willing to betray a pivotal pro-American ally in order to appease the “Arab street.” Radical Islamists also will realize that Washington’s support is fickle; their dream of driving the Jews into the sea no longer seems unattainable. In fact, now it is entirely possible.”

You are right that Israel and the world has already seen the so-called two state solution. This was Hamas ruled Gaza living next to Israel. Hamas ruled Gaza with an iron fist. Their top 5 became billionaires living in safety in Qatar.
Hamas has been firing rockets into Israel for 15+ years then finally they invaded to kill Israelis wholesale
Meaning that we have seen the two state solution and it turned into a surprise attack mass murder by Hamas/Gazans. And before that, Hamas sending rockets into Israel for years. Plus terrorist incidents.
I sure wish more people understood that.

That's right, and what is most telling is that the Arabs states DON'T WANT THEM.
So why should Israel be expected to take them? Or maybe rather, why should the rest of the world demand Israel take them accommodating their enemies who are hell bent on destroying them?
The answer is pretty obvious.
They want Israel destroyed and the way to do it is force them to live with their sworn enemies living next to them and working in their country. Then nobody will feel they are responsible for Israel being destroyed.
Just say no to national suicide.
