Well, surely an attorney general would take contempt of congress seriously. It’s obstruction of an official proceeding, which, if you are Donald Trump or the poor schmucks who walked around the capitol building, could get you 20 years in jail.
But as a famous person once said, laws are for the little people — and Donald Trump and anyone who supports him.

At this point - whether it was ever actually recorded or not - the tape surely no longer exists. He can’t admit that, so he has to stonewall.
