>>>>It's too bad nobody has put together a truly cross-cultural anti-Communist organization dedicated to achieving complete victory over ALL Communist countries.

Isn't that what FreeRepublic is? :)

"Isn't that what FreeRepublic is? :)"

It's a start, but FR is more of a generalized conservative message board. Don't get me wrong, there is a tremendous need for FR. I'm talking about a specialized anti-Communist organization whose single-minded focus is to bring down all Communist tyrannies, wherever they may exist.

Ah my friend. It is more than a message board :)

Look up the FR Network in your area. The message board is for research, office type meeting place.

The FR Network is activism in its finest :)

I see you never 'set your local'. You are blocking an entire function of FR.

Set your local, go to the local live chat and get to know the people in your Network. Then take the steps to join it.

Such a strong Anti-Communist Coalition already exists.

BUSH and VAN TRAN's Little Saigon have already been working hard for Freedom's return to Vietnam.

As my U.S. 7th Cavalry Unit was spearheading Freedom's arrival to Iraq in April 2003...

...a letter signed by President BUSH was read aloud at a Vietnamese-American 'Support Our Troops/President BUSH' Rally in Fountain Valley, California.

As I have been sharing here on Freerepublic.com ever since my personally witnessing this, in his letter BUSH promised Freedom's return to Communist Vietnam, Communist North Korea and Communist Cuba as well as Freedom's arrival to all the countries of the Middle East, during a BUSH Presidency. This being America's own best self-protection against future terrorist attacks here at home.

This was a full year and a half before President BUSH said exactly the same thing to the world at the New York City Republican Convention while declaring our new 21st Century...

...The LIBERTY Century.

Hmong are an ethnic group found in Vietnam and (I believe) Cambodia as well.

I live in a Vietnamese household. Not only are they ardent Republicans, they are vehement anti-communists. They would just as soon put a bullet into a communist as talk to them. But then, they have first-hand horror stories that will make your blood run cold, and many of them have the battle scars to prove it. There was a huge anti-Kerry push within the American Vietnamese community.

My misses is a publishing big shot in Manhattan. We were once hanging out there talking with some folks there who are (of course) liberals over dinner. One guy made a snide comment about the Viet Nam war and the communists that just sent her on a tear like I'd never seen before. She was absolutely livid and asked how dare someone so ignorant make such comments with tears in her eyes. She went on for about five minutes non-stop, and when she was done there was tears in his eyes and he apologized. I was personally stunned; I've known her for a very long time, but I'd never seen her go off like that.

If I'd known such things were emotional flash points for her I would have put my foot up his ass personally, but she did a marvelous job of putting him in his place in a way I'm sure he'll never forget. It wasn't the topic, it was his attitude toward it. I have a lot of experience with the Vietnamese and the ones we have in the US are generally good people with a powerful anti-communist (and to a lesser extent, anti-Chinese) streak that runs very deep. I have no doubts that if push came to shove, they'd grab a rifle and take care of business.

If people start thinking they can just assasinate whomever they don't agree with, we are going to degenerate into the middle east or many African countries.

Or even European countries. Like the flaming gay (and extremely popular) Pim Fortuyn in the Netherlands who had the audacity to challenge the status quo and promote a more libertarian and anti-Islamic philosophy, who was assassinated just prior to the election. There has been a spate of assassinations in Europe over the last several years, mostly against people who challenge the socialist and pro-Islamic status quo.

...Thank you for your kindness, CWOJackson, but I'm merely a lifetime Witness to the Heroism of Many.

See: http://www.ModernDayHeroes.com/aloha

...After JOHN KERRY did all he could to ensure a Communist Victory over a then Free South Vietnam, by calling us American Soldiers fighting for Freedom there...

...rapists and terrorists,

...many soon imprisoned heroic South Vietnamese were tortured by their North Vietnamese Captors ...for years upon years regardless of gender.

...During my aiding Little Saigon's fight to bring Freedom back to Vietnam I've been blessed to personally see, and feel, the wounds inflicted by Communist Vietnamese upon subjugated Vietnamese.

...This is the REAL Vietnam War Story that Americans must finally come to terms with. And with those here who fooled us thru TV media into leaving a Free people behind to their fate at the hands of invading Communist Bullies:

WALTER CRONKITE
HILLARY RODHAM
BILL CLINTON
JOHN KERRY

"I have no doubts that if push came to shove, they'd grab a rifle and take care of business."

The Vietnamese by and large are squarely in the "God, Guns, and Guts Made America Free" camp. Unfortunately, the University system is starting to take its toll on the younger generation. BTW, my girlfriend is also Vietnamese, and her family is just like your misses:o)

another reason why kerry should have stayed out of the anti-war demonstrations. we could have won and this would not be a problem.

Unfortunately, the University system is starting to take its toll on the younger generation.

The saving grace is that they have strong family structures. The younger generations like my lady may not really remember the war that well, but the parents remind them in no uncertain terms of the evils of the communists and that they must be defeated everywhere at all costs. There are physical wounds and memories of wholesale executions and prison camps. As is very typical of Asian cultures, such things remain personal for many generations beyond the original insult. Hell, look at how the Vietnamese view the Chinese; that is a conflict that has been raging for over a thousand years.

I don't worry too much about the Vietnamese. Their families and their cultural identity is too strong to be squashed by a little propaganda. They are like our own Scots and Irish, fierce and proud people that are friendly as can be until you make it clear that you are their enemy. It runs in the blood. Hell, that makes them fit right in as Americans. Contrast that with, for example, the Chinese immigrants in the US.
