Trying to intimidate the judge. The complaints are laughable though:
“Public critics of Cannon have noted her delays in ruling on multiple pending motions, granting hearings to Trump’s lawyers on legal issues that might otherwise be easily addressed through court filings, and criticizing filings by special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecutors.”
The complaint is delay? I wonder why they care about that? Couldn’t be because they want a decision before the election, could it?
The prosecution doesn’t get to pick its own judge.
You don’t need to have Trump at the convention to declare him the nominee. If he’s in jail, that will underscore the Dems treason and bring a lot of pressure on the Supreme Court to reverse the verdict before the election.
Hogan may be a liberal Republican but if you’re a Dem, why lie and say you’re a Republican in Maryland? There is absolutely no chance that a conservative or even moderate Republican could get elected in Maryland. I think we should take what we can get. At a minimum it denies the seat to a true Dem.
“Nullification” is the wrong word. Jury nullification means the jury voted to acquit even though the prosecution had proved its case. Here, we just need the jury to do its job and vote for an acquittal based on the lack of evidence.
