I agree to a point. But if the parties in question keep hrassing (which in this case they will) a ‘gentle’ reminder of what could happen can pay dividends.
You’ll hear that same variant echoed here, with a good chance from the same crowd who, just a few months ago, claimed Trump can’t win the general election because he didn’t win 100% of the primaries.
"And Roman history reiterates that Trump is not our last chance. He may be their last chance, a final off-ramp from an ugly road they seem intent on traveling down. The Roman experience is that subsequent challengers of the status quo get smarter, more effective, and more ruthless. Whether Trump wins or loses, someone will follow him and take up his banner of opposition to the Ruling Class. That someone will learn from Trump’s mistakes, and he will not share Trump’s previous naïve belief that the system is unrigged. And if that challenger is defeated, the one who comes next – and one will come next – will be even more ruthless and effective."
Schlichter echoes something I think may happen: we may wind up with a dictator, but their last name won't be Trump.
For the bolded: of course not. Because the narrative is what is important.
I think those of the MAGA persuasion aren't prone to violence.
The dirty secret: many of not most on the Left (and I put a number of RINOs in that category) are parasites in one respect or another.
So, how about when a Lefty is identified: Restaurant: We won't serve you Shipper: We won't supply your business with goods or services Trades: We won't fix your air conditioning, plumbing, roof et al Populace: We won't fight your war Populace (quoting a movie): "Senator, you can have my answer now, if you like. My offer is nothing."
