An investigation has been launched after a veterans memorial was vandalized in California, shocking locals who celebrate at the site every year. The memorial is located in Morgan Hill, a small city near San Francisco. It's a popular downtown gathering place, hosting services on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Early on Sunday morning, locals discovered that the US flag hanging at the site had been burned and a plaque had been defaced. The perpetrator remains unknown but the Morgan Hill Police Department suspects that the attack occured overnight on Saturday and said that officers are continuing their investigation, according to...

Democrats and their allies in the liberal media launched a smear campaign against Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito earlier this month in an effort to prompt his recusal from upcoming cases related to former President Donald Trump and the Jan. 6 protests. Jodi Kantor, running lead on the initiative for the New York Times, failed to land a decisive blow with her May 16 flag story, which the Washington Post had years earlier wrote off as a nothing-burger. Meatless, but desperate for results, Kantor found another flag to concern-monger about: the "Appeal to Heaven" flag, also known as the Pine...

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts rejected Democrats’ request on Thursday to have a meeting about flags raised at the properties of Justice Samuel Alito, pointing to “separation of powers concerns.” Unable to expand the court with more liberal justices, Democrats have been casting doubt on Justice Alito’s ability to remain impartial after the New York Times published two stories showing an upside-down American flag and an Appeal to Heaven flag displayed in Alito’s front yard. The Times linked the flags to Trump supporters, “Stop the Steal,” and January 6 protesters who have more recently adopted those historic symbols. Following...

It's no surprise that San Francisco is run by a bunch of insurrectionists. How many of us secretly believed that the city was only barely American in the first place? There is even a Nelson DeMille book in which the ultra-conservative baddies plan on nuking San Francisco because it was full of anti-American zealots. It's hard to argue with their reasoning about S.F., but I would never endorse nuking any city, no less one as beautiful as the City by the Bay. Still, you wouldn't expect the city fathers (mothers? Nonbinary caregivers? Degenerate lawmakers? What should I call them?) to...

Well...okay.Maybe the man didn't EXACTLY say that. I might have employed a little poetic license, but come on now - the effect is the same.He said "no" to politely worded requests for recusal in a couple kind of important cases coming up that Dems would dearly love to puncture the conservative court majority in any way they could.MY WIFE IS FOND OF FLYING FLAGSSupreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on Wednesday rejected Democratic lawmakers’ requests that he recuse himself from key cases related to former President Donald Trump and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot following reports that flags linked to...

Take heart, dear reader. While it is excruciating to endure the latest political crisis manufactured by Democrats and the leftwing news media, I advise a different approach. Smile. Laugh. Cackle like Kamala. Why? The absurd flag-flying scandal, undoubtedly annoying to Justice Samuel Alito and his family, is all the proof we need that decisions pending at the U.S. Supreme Court will not go the Democrats’ way. And it is killing them to the point of debasement and emotional immolation. Yay! Two critical questions before the court will determine whether Donald Trump faces trial in Washington, D.C. this year on Special...

Appealing to heaven is “provocative,” says The New York Times. The Times reported Wednesday that—gasp—Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito flew an “Appeal to Heaven” flag last year at his vacation home in New Jersey. “Another Provocative Flag Was Flown at Another Alito Home,” reads the Times’ headline. The story comes on the heels of a media-concocted “scandal” revealing that Alito flew an upside-down flag outside his house for a few days in early 2021. We are led to believe that the first incident means that Alito is a violent, insurrectionist supporter of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot or something. Alito...

A construction crew working on a bridge in Alaska’s Denali National Park was ordered to remove their American flag from their equipment. The park official said it “detracted” from the park experience. Alaska Watchman reported: The crew working on a 475-foot-long bridge in Alaska’s Denali National Park was recently told that they could no longer fly the American flag from their trucks or heavy equipment, which are being used in the $207 million Federal Highway Administration project. ..... Snip..... According to the contractor, Denali National Park Superintendent Brooke Merrell contacted the man overseeing the federal highways project, claiming there had...

As their desperation grows, Democrats and their media allies have pulled out all the stops in recent weeks to try and disqualify/discredit another conservative Supreme Court Justice for the crime of WrongThink. This time around, it's not Justice Clarence Thomas Democrats have taken aim at but Justice Samuel Alito, whose apparent sin was his wife briefly flying the American flag at their home upside down 11 days after the Capitol riot, and the "Appeal to Heaven" flag being flown at his beach house for a period of time in 2023.Both flags, the New York Times breathlessly proclaimed, were "January 6...

@BasedMikeLee Martha-Ann Alito has every right to hang whatever flag she wants. In whatever manner she wants. She is a free citizen. And a freedom-loving, American patriot. Her husband doesn’t speak for her. And she doesn’t speak for her husband. Why can’t the left accept that?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fumed that a Supreme Court Justice is a threat to democracy because of a flag displayed at his beach home last year. AOC went on MSNBC to slam Justice Samuel Alito for flying a Revolutionary War-era flag featuring a pine tree and the slogan 'An Appeal to Heaven' at his New Jersey vacation home last summer. The flag originally was designed to be flown by U.S. naval ships in the Revolutionary War that were directly under the command of George Washington. Like the Gadsden Flag, which popularly features a snake and the 'Don't Tread On Me' slogan,...

The Mainstream Media and Democrats, but that's just one in the same, have no intention of leaving conservative Supreme Court Justices alone. Today's target? Judge Alito's vacation house. "Last summer, two years after an upside-down American flag was flown outside the Virginia home of Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., another provocative symbol was displayed at his vacation house in New Jersey, according to interviews and photographs. This time, it was the “Appeal to Heaven” flag, which, like the inverted U.S. flag, was carried by rioters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Also known as the Pine Tree flag, it...

02:06 CNN — A flag that was on display during the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol was flown outside Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s vacation home in New Jersey, according to a report in the New York Times on Wednesday.Citing photographs and interviews with neighbors, the Times reports that the “Appeal to Heaven” flag was seen on display at his property last summer. The flag, which has a history dating to the Revolutionary War, has also become a symbol for supporters of former President Donald Trump. The flag is white and includes a green evergreen tree and...

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) slammed Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito for an American flag that flew upside down at his Virginia home in 2021, saying that despite tensions reportedly running high in the neighborhood at the time, it was “not good judgment” on Alito’s part. “Emotions are apparently high in that neighborhood,” Graham told reporters Monday. “But no, it’s not good judgment to do that. He said his wife was insulted and got mad. I assume that to be true, but he’s still a Supreme Court justice, and people have to realize that [at] moments like that to think it...

A University of North Carolina student who defended the US flag from anti-Israel protesters said he was willing to put his life on the line and said they would have had to take the flag “over my dead body.” Like many other US campuses, the quad of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was attacked by anti-Israel protesters who descended on a flag flying at half mast to commemorate four Charlotte officers who were killed in the line of duty. Stompel, who is a junior majoring in political science, recalled thinking, “I don’t understand how people can act...

A student who held up her own American flag at a North Carolina campus Tuesday, after an anti-Israel mob desecrated an American flag flying on campus, said she would die for Old Glory. Anti-Israel protesters targeted the American flag on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's quad — which had been flying at half-mast after four Charlotte officers were killed in the line of duty. At one point, they replaced it with a Palestinian flag – enraging students and inspiring members from the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity to take action. "I definitely was emotionally a little bit shaken,"...

@elonmusk Proposed law: if someone tears down the American flag and puts up another flag in its place, that person should get a free (but mandatory) one-way trip to that flag’s country @elonmusk I’m not saying they can’t come back, but they have to experience that country for some period of time before returning

Several politicians praised students from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill for protecting the American flag from anti-Israel protesters. UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Lee H. Roberts was seen raising the American flag back to the top of the flag pole after pro-Palestinian protesters took it down and replaced it with the Palestinian flag. After Roberts left, pro-Palestinian protesters reportedly once again began attempting to remove the flag, leading a group of students to move in to hold the flag up off the ground and defend the flag from protesters.
