Trump should thank folks for articles like this. They detract nothing from his campaign. They let him remind everyone that he was trying to get someone to listen 19 months before the 911 attack and build his credibility. At the same time Trump can throw one liners that keep Jeb busy explaining all of the stupid stuff that Carl Rove talked W into for the remainder of the campaign. It also opens the door for a later attack on Jeb for not telling anyone who he is and what he stands for. Although, in my opinion, Jebby is a democrat and would be lying about what he really stands for anyway.
They all failed to stop the attacks.
The Clinton Presidency failed and the Bush Presidency failed to stop the 9/11 attack from happening.
The bureaucrats in Washington DC failed as well.
“And may I also point out that the Bush administration hustled,in the dead of night, members of the Saudi royal family out of the country”
Yes, please do.
Gives a new spin on he kept us safe *after* 9/11.
Who is the “us”?
No blaming of the terrorists eh?
Trump did not say he blamed Bush for 911. What we do know however is that many in the Bush administration begged him to pay attention. Bush refused.
We’re adults here. We can understand that the terrorists are responsible for their deeds. But Bush took on the presidency in autopilot, thinking that if he just did what his advisors (often previously his father’s advisors) told him what to do he was in good shape.
Trump was sounding the alarm about just such an attack over a year before it occurred, and obviously is a real and proactive executive and manager. Not just a lucky sperm who thought he could ape the relatively poor job his dad had done in the same office.
Things are so crystal clear in your hindsight I see. No mention of the confusion and lack of communication between the FBI and VIA that Clinton caused. All “bushie’s” fault 19 Saudis flew planes into the WTC.
—that Bush did nothing about. Not “all” W’s fault, but IMO in part, yes.
He did. And he did not blame Bush, he only said it happened on Bush's watch. Get up to speed before you speak.
Yessirree Bob!
But never fear, the folks in DC have excuses for themselves... and if those excuses don't work they have endless 'oh so flowery' apologies.
How does that work?
Congresscritters agree to except lame excuse and apologies from each other.. - "you accept mine, I'll accept yours" .... We'll all cover for each other...
To add insult to injury they expect us - those of us in flyover - to pretend their foolishness is profound. Washington DC sucks... and so does the press covering them... and I don't care if we blame Bush or Clinton or both. In two years who will be blame when some of the 200,000 Syrians Obama wants to bring over start killing us?
WAR ON TERROR PING
Buy Trump’s book, “The America We Deserve on Kindle.
Then go to chapter 5, Freedom from Terrorism, Trump smacks the Clintoons for 9/11 and the first bombing of the WTC, that our mediots keep quiet.
While you have the book, read what he had to say before 9/11 about /immigration and other important issues.
“And he did not blame Bush, he only said it happened on Bush’s watch.”
Ha. With the implication that if it happened on Bush’s watch he was somehow at fault too.
I know he blamed Clinton, but that’s where the buck stops as far as I’m concerned.
All of that is so true——but the horror is the savages Obama is bringing into the US all figure WE think like that, as well.
They figure WE, THE PEOPLE, are a bunch of chumps .....like the ***holes in Congress.
Thanks raptor22. The fact is, Trump didn't go full metal truther, and he didn't claim that GWB was asleep at the switch -- he was criticizing the wide-open immigration policies of past administrations (Clinton for eight years; GWB had only been in office for six months), and as we saw, Jeb was left with the Queen of Spades over this particular move, because he was governor of Florida where the flight lessons took place.
You’re right... chumps. And that could get really scary ... I’ll be so happy when Obama is out of office.
apparently you don’t read much
