It must have been the worst nightmare. The thing about watching the intense videos is that they’re sanitary. No smell of human flesh burning or the smells you remember. I’m sure your church was very grateful for your help!
College in Des Moines, Iowa. Senior year. Classes were forgotten, people stayed glued to TVs.
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is well here. Supposed to be back up to 100 by Thursday and that’s not making me happy. But the good part is that it won’t last for weeks like it would in June! LOL!
Did you and Bo have a good day yesterday? Were there any critters to harass...er....play with? :)
No we couldn’t find any critters at Wichita Ridge but we enjoyed the walk around the park yesterday. We’ll see how things go today at Chisolm Trail Park.
Have a good time whatever else you do! :)
I used to play Rugby at the little park called Gravely Point. I remember thinking to myself whenever we would do a pop kick and a passenger jet would come by. I would think, “ Man those jets are low ! It looks one of them could suck in a high kick!”. That’s what popped into my head those games at Gravely Point. I thought, “OMG it happened!”
But then I realized it wasn’t Saturday! It was something else. Flipped on my radio and found out!
Thank you. Fear, worry and horror were what I was feeling. My husband rushed home in his car, and heard on the radio that the towers had fallen. He imagined that they had toppled over. When he got home, he was ashen. We were among the fortunate ones. We grieved for NYC.
