If Cruz is right, when will we get to see evidence that johnson is a strong conservative?

McConnell has trotted Cruz from the stable to do the smearing and propaganda that he wants done. Because Cruz is seen as conservative.

It seems the only persons who is not in McConnell's stable is Rand Paul and Tommy Tuberville.

Hey Cruz, what have you done for us other than talk all day? What have you actually done to block the marxist democrats?

Whatever, he seems to be just another garden variety GOP Speaker. Like the month of March: In like a lion, out like a lamb.

If he can manage to do it, why can’t the rest of us do the same thing?

Puritan conservatives aren’t the into the politics of compromise.

It’s a strange concept to them.(Same with winning elections)

"MTG is right. At this point there is no difference in the two parties as evidenced by their votes and rubber stamping."

This isn't just a recent occurrence. We were talking about Congressional Repukes rolling over for the RATS 20 years ago on FR.

A “strong conservative” doesn’t push $90 billion out of the country when that money is desperately needed within our border.

The Democrats are lying when they say they will vote to keep Johnson. They are trying to rope-a-dope us into handing everything over to them. Johnson sucks, but there are multiple Republicans who have said they will switch parties if he is removed. We cannot afford that this close to the election. A Demonocrat majority would vote not to certify Trump’s election.

You tell me. Johnson has 1) Presided over a budget that is adding $1 trillion to the national debt every hundred days 2) Rubberstamped more than $4 billion to the rogue, politicized FBI for a new HQ 3) Passed through warrantless searches on Americans and 4) Broke his promise not give a penny to Ukraine before a border security package passed.

He's either been blackmailed or been paid off to betray the base of the party.

You're a joke.

There was no need to compromise. Johnson didn't have to break his promise not to give money to Ukraine before getting a border security package passed. He didn't have to agree to spend $4 billion on new HQ for the politicized and corrupt FBI. He could have voted against and killed the FISA spy program.

Now of that means squat to the voters.

It's your Bush-style, uniparty Republicanism that gave Democrats a supermajority along with Obama.

The bigges problems this country are facing is when the uniparty agrees on issues like running massive debt, open borders and laundering money through a warmonger, corrupt foreign policy. Most Americans are opposed to all that.

You're totally clueless.

Getting rid of Johnson after November is the proper political approach.

It was poor wording on my part too.

I obv didn’t mean support the aid and Johnson as much as let it go until the right time.

The lack of patience is understandable.

We’re always told to wait and usually to no avail.

I get the frustration too. MAGA won the GOP the House only for little to no change.

Pres Trump is the captain of our ship. His support told us that he believes waiting is the proper course. His reasoning is not unsound in my opinion. Hopefully things go our way and Johnson will be exited in due time.

I’d rather see more convo on our would be Senate majority leader. It looks like we have at least a 65% chance of winning it. It would obv be nice to have an actual MAGA type in that position.
