They are definitely 'gaming' us. The government is full of some of the most evil, vindictive, and manipulative people you will ever meet. They have made concerted efforts to drag the term "militia" through the mud. In a legitimate republic, local militias would be a part of all emergency management, national disasters, an in cases of civil unrest. Unfortunately, the united states hasn't been a legitimate republic for decades. The government has long been an enemy of the people, that has no compunction against killing any citizen for any reason, or no reason at all.
Actually thought this was about the Antifa black shirts being organized for this summer. Was there any other violent group during the summer of 2020?
