The NFL probably didn't expect this one. The NFL tried to cancel him. The creeps running Kansas City tried to doxx him: Taylor Swift fans were outraged. Some of the wokester Catholic press tut-tutted and got all snide and nasty to him instead of defend him for defending the Catholic faith. But Kansas City Chiefs Kicker and Superbowl champ's fans are rallying, too, in a great wave of counter-moves. On social media, they demanded that his remarks not be taken out of context: They pointed to the NFL's hypocritical double standard: They put their money where their mouths were, and...

The ex-diversity program manager for Facebook and Nike who stole more than $5 million from the mega companies to fund her “luxury lifestyle” was sentenced Monday to five years behind bars — and ordered to pay back the hefty sum. Barbara Furlow-Smiles, 38, set up fake business deals, invoices and events — including a Juneteenth celebration — to line her own pockets, the Justice Department said. “Furlow-Smiles shamelessly violated her position of trust as a DEI executive at Facebook to steal millions from the company utilizing a scheme involving fraudulent vendors, fake invoices, and cash kickbacks,” said US Attorney Ryan...

Leftists are enraged after Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s commencement address at Benedictine College went viral earlier this week, and a petition calling for the Catholic player to be dismissed collected over 100,000 signatures. Butker, a three-time Super Bowl champion, delivered the commencement address at the Catholic liberal arts college in Atchison, Kansas, last weekend. During the address, he pulled no punches, calling out President Joe Biden’s support for abortion and criticizing LGBTQ “Pride month.” A Change.org petition created on Monday now calls on the Chiefs to “Dismiss Harrison Butker for Discriminatory Remarks.” “The harmful remarks made by Harrison...

In late 2009, the question everyone was asking was put to the man himself. What made Usain Bolt – an era-defining champion of immense speed and consummate ease at just 23 – so fast? Bolt cited his God-given talent, while crediting a diet that ranged from ultra-processed chicken nuggets to the Jamaican staple of yams. But he also pointed to the cruelties of man. "I think over the years what makes Jamaica different is because of slavery really," he said of his sprinting roots. "The genes are really strong." It is a hypothesis that existed before Bolt's comments and has...

WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson said the elephant in the room when it comes to the enormous popularity of Caitlin Clark is the fact that she is a White woman. Clark is by far the most heralded basketball player since Larry Bird entered the NBA in 1979 alongside Earvin “Magic” Johnson. But when you juxtapose Clark’s resumé with Wilson’s, the contrast is startling and begs the question as to why Clark already has a signature Nike shoe deal and Wilson did not until this past week.

Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel is throwing his financial muscle behind an “Olympics on steroids” — whose organizer boasts that athletes will dope “out in the open and honestly.” Thiel, who made his fortune as an early investor in tech startups like PayPal and Facebook, is backing the Enhanced Games, which will actively encourage athletes to use performance-enhancing drugs. The venture — aimed at aiding research into nutritional supplements and biohacks that push the boundaries of human performance — is the brainchild of Dr. Aron D’Souza, a lawyer by training who famously conceived Thiel’s lawsuit against Gawker Media. Fred Astaire dancing & playing golf. In this video he makes the game look very easy, maybe not at PGA Tour level, but you can see the great man could play and had a low handicap of 10. Astaire wanted to incorporate golf into a dance routine. "Fooling around at Bel-Air one day," he recalled, "I did a few impromptu rhythm steps just before hitting one off the tee, and was surprised to find that I could really connect that way." So, maybe the game is not so difficult after all.
