Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is expected to join his team Friday on a visit to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl championship despite the player’s strident criticism of Joe Biden’s presidency. A crash happened Saturday evening outside the White House, leaving one person dead, according to police. The Metropolitan Police Department responded at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday night to reports of a crash at the intersection of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Ave Northwest in Washington, D.C. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The vehicle crashed into a security barrier around the White House complex. The incident is being investigated only as a traffic crash by the police department’s Major Crash Investigations Unit.

WASHINGTON (7News) — An investigation is underway after a man died in a crash near the White House on Saturday evening, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. At around 10:45 p.m., D.C. police said they responded to the intersection of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest, D.C. for reports of a crash. When they arrived, they located a man and pronounced him dead on the scene.
