Al-Qaeda accused the United States of withholding necessary medication from "Blind Sheikh" Omar Abdel-Rahman, the mastermind of the deadly 1993 World Trade Center bombing who died behind bars Saturday. They also released a final statement from the sheikh complaining of strip searches that explored his private parts "front and back," claiming that he could be poisoned behind bars and calling for "the most powerful and violent revenge" in the event of his demise. Abdel-Rahman, 78, was serving a life sentence at the Federal Medical Center, Butner, in North Carolina. He had been blinded at a young age by diabetes, and...

Mzoudi was a liaison to al Qaeda, witness said. A man claiming to be a former Iranian spy testified Friday that Abdelghani Mzoudi, the second man to be tried for an alleged role in the Sept. 11 attacks, was involved in the preparations to hit the World Trade Center. The witness, who goes by the alias Hamid Reza Zakeri, took the stand at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg and claimed that Mzoudi, was "responsible for part of the organization" of the suicide attacks that destroyed the twin towers in New York and damaged the Pentagon. Zakeri testified Mzoudi...

Like countless other people, freelance photographer Rich McCormack of Jersey City snapped a photo of the Tribute in Light at the World Trade Center site last week. But unlike the others, McCormack captured something more than the beams of light reaching up into the night sky. Just what it is that the frequent contributor to The Jersey Journal captured in his image is open to interpretation. It looks like "a vision of the Lord (Jesus) with his arms folded," said McCormack, who took the photo Friday night, Sept. 9, from the Hoboken waterfront.

From the earliest days after the 9/11 attacks, the American establishment have showed an overwhelming reluctance to dwell on those who jumped or fell from the Twin Towers. Unofficial estimates put the number of jumpers at around 200, but it is impossible to say for certain because their bodies were indistinguishable from others after the collapse of the Towers. As part of its research into where the fire was at its most intense, NIST analysed camera footage and still photographs, and counted 104 jumpers, often recording the floor and exact window from which they left. All but three leapt from...

Sharia SC Islamists to open DNC with prayer for sharia to replace US Constitution When the Democrat National Convention/”hate-America” festival gets started, it will begin with a “Jummah” or Muslim prayer group. There will be about 20,000 people gathered for a celebration of the Islamists’ plans to eventually overthrow our government and replace our Constitutional government with a Sharia-controlled theocracy. This begs the question: who will be there and what do they represent? The leaders of the Jummah will be Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahha. Both men have a long track record of hatred for America and our way...

Nearly 15 years after 9/11, New York firefighter and Battalion Chief Larry Stack is slowly but surely moving toward his final resting place. Stack and 342 other firefighters died trying to save lives at the World Trade Center that were destroyed in the September 11th, 2001 attacks. Stacks' remains like many others were never found or identified. So his family didn't hold a funeral for him. They were hoping his remains would be found. Plus, the Catholic Church requires physical remains be present in church for a funeral. After 15 agonizing years Stacks' family remembered he had gone into the...

WASHINGTON — A bill that would let the families of those killed in the Sept. 11 attacks sue Saudi Arabia for any role in the terrorist plot passed the Senate unanimously on Tuesday, bringing Congress closer to a showdown with the White House, which has threatened to veto the legislation. The Senate’s passage of the bill, which will now be taken up in the House, is another sign of escalating tensions in a relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia that once received little scrutiny from lawmakers.Obama administration officials have lobbied against the bill, a view that the White House...

(snip)Exchange as follows: STEPHANIE RUHLE, host: In order to be the president of the United States, you have to be a leader. We have not seen your soft hand. We have seen your offense, but George Bush had to stand in front of America after 9/11, Barack Obama did after Sandy Hook. Help us understand who Donald Trump is as a man. I need to know that you will make us feel a safe and you will make us feel proud.TRUMP: I think I have a bigger heart than all of them. I think I’m much more competent than all...

Hamid Reza Zakeri, a former inspector and director of Iran's Revolutionary Guards and Ministry of Intelligence, or MOIS, member said models of the World Trade Center, the White House, Pentagon and other United States government buildings "were in our headquarters." Jerry Casale, one of the founding members of Devo, has caused controversy online after photos surfaced of his 9/11-themed wedding cake. The 67-year-old got married Krista Napp at Michael's Restaurant in Santa Monica, California on Friday - the 14th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks which resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans. Links to both videos: I found this first video several years ago on one of the anniversaries of September 11. Who would not want to do some part of the past in reverse...personal or historical? WTC: 9/11 Tribute (Music Video - In Reverse)This second video was made 11 years prior to September 11, 2001. It features the British band Depeche Mode singing atop one of the towers. Seeing the enormity of both buildings...I can feel it in my heart. It makes me feel apprehensive, but also in awe. They were amazing structures. I revisit these two videos and others...

A man accused of funneling cash from Osama bin Laden to a radical Muslim cleric who helped plan the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center was on the payroll of the Clinton administration throughout the 1990s. Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was arrested Sunday after being accused of trying to smuggle $340,000 in cash from Lybia to terrorist groups in Syria, worked at the Clinton State Department as a global emissary for religious tolerance. When confronted with news of the curious arrangement just a week before Mrs. Clinton was elected to the Senate, a State Department spokesman told the New...

On the eve of the 14th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, stunning photos show a rainbow appearing to originate from the World Trade Center in New York City on Thursday. Ben Sturner, the CEO of sports marketing company Leverage Agency, has an unobstructed view of the Manhattan skyline including the World Trade Center, from across the East River. On Thursday morning, Sturner stepped outside of his apartment in Long Island City, Queens and onto the terrace to check the weather as part of his daily routine. The sight that he saw while standing outside just after 7:00am was...

This town hall meeting took place Sep 10, 2001 in Amherst Mass 12 hours before the first plane struck the towers in New York City, before the Pentagon was hit, and before Flight 93 was taken down in a suicide dive by the terrorists who were beign overrun by brave Americans. This video is significant because of the statements made at the 40 minute to 50 minute mark and again at the 1 hour 10 minute mark which were in response to comments made at the 45 minute mark. Keep in mind this was made 12 hours before the World...

INTELLIGENCE agents from Prague to Swansea are uncovering a trail of clues that point to President Saddam Hussein of Iraq having a hand in al-Qaeda’s terrorist missions. Iraqi ministers have spent the week protesting Baghdad’s innocence to the United Nations, but will not say why some of its diplomats who met Mohammed Atta, one of the suspected September 11 hijackers, disappeared from their European posts after that date. Nor will Baghdad explain why Saddam’s agents were spotted at various times this year with Atta in Germany, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic. Many in the Pentagon are sure Saddam ...
