STIPULATED INJUNCTION

The parties have requested that the Court enter this permanent injunction, which will resolve the parties’ dispute in this lawsuit. Upon consideration of the parties’ request and the entire record in this matter, it is hereby

ORDERED, that Defendant/Counterclaimant Thomas Chappell Aldridge, Jr. ("Aldridge") and anyone acting in concert with him are hereby prohibited from directly or indirectly disrupting the operation of Plaintiff/Counterdefendant Free Republic, LLC’s ("Free Republic") web site (www.FreeRepublic.com); and it is further

ORDERED, that Aldridge and anyone acting in concert with him are hereby prohibited from directly or indirectly registering screen names and/or posting messages on Free Republic’s web site without the express written consent of Free Republic’s owner or operator; and it is further

ORDERED, that Aldridge and anyone acting in concert with him are hereby prohibited from counseling others on how to disrupt or post messages on that web site; and it is further

ORDERED, that Aldridge and anyone acting in concert with him are hereby prohibited from posting messages on the Internet, without prior written consent, that reveal non-public personal information (including, but not limited to, home addresses, otherwise unlisted home phone numbers, and social security numbers, whether in part or in full) about Free Republic’s founder or known visitors to Free Republic’s web site; and it is further

ORDERED, that Aldridge is required to post the following statement, or as much of it as the space available on the host protocols will allow, to include at least the words "PLEASE READ IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE" and the hyperlink to the Injunction, in plain view on any Internet site he has created, run or organized or may create, run or organize that discusses or criticizes Free Republic: "PLEASE_READ,_IMPORTANT_LEGAL_NOTICE: The creator [or organizer, etc.] of this web site and all others acting in concert with him have been enjoined from directly or indirectly: (1) registering screen names and/or posting messages on Free Republic’s web site (www.FreeRepublic.com); and (2) posting messages on the Internet that reveal non-public personal information (including, but not limited to, home addresses, otherwise unlisted home phone numbers, and social security numbers, whether in part or in full) of Free Republic’s founder or users without their prior written consent. A copy of the Injunction Order may be found at [include hypertext link to this Order, to be maintained on Free Republic’s web site at Free Republic’s expense]. By posting a message on this web site, you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, for purposes of enforcing this injunction."; and it is further

ORDERED, that this STIPULATED INJUNCTION shall remain in effect until further Order of this Court, and the Court shall retain jurisdiction over this case, including any request to modify this Order and any action alleging a violation of this Order; and it is further
