Now the unhinged ones are talking about the hospice notion of playing music in the dying person's room: "Classical Music as Terri Put to Death" - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1374759/posts

Keyes ran a campaign in Illinois?

Well, he somehow wrangled a nomination. Whether or not he actually ran a campaign is a matter of debate. ;o)

Hell, I've been searching for years for a bumper sticker that read "Classical Music Kills", but now I'm thinking I'll forget about it ;0)

That being said, this is just getting to be too much... Sigh...

Because this case, specifically had far too many open questions about the circumstances surrounding it.

If there were actual "open questions" in this case, it would still be in the court system. The courts have ruled on all the open questions years ago, accepting expert testimony and making their decisions. This is what the courts are designed to do, and they did it quite well - so well that neither the Florida Supreme Court nor the US Supreme Court would hear the appeals.

The fact that a few people have some questions about certain aspects of the case does not change the previous rulings made by the courts. The case is not tried in the MainStream Media. And I think we're all lucky it's not.

I SAID I don't AGREE w/Crier on a lot of things...Can't you read?

Matter of fact, I don't AGREE w/President Bush on EVERY ISSUE, either.

IMO, he was totally WRONG to get involved in this case and he knows it now.

I may be wrong, but I think Rush and Mark Levin to name two, got involved to help promote the fact that we have a run away judiciary.

Thing is, "originalist" judges are precisely the kind who would NOT engage in the kind of judicial activism requested by the Schindlers.

Rarely in my non-FR life am I speechless, but I have no words for so many of these threads. I can't count the number of times that I start to reply and then hit the back button.

Some freepers were demonized here for supporting the actions and words of Jesse Jackson. I find it amusing to see that "my liberal is better than your liberal"

I must admit that I was pretty creeped out when I heard Felos talking about the lovely music playing in Mrs. Schiavo's room, and the beautiful flowers, and that there was a stuffed animal, a tabby cat, stuff under her arm. But the Nazi death camps with an orchestra playing at the gate didn't come to mind, either.

You said on another thread you now expected the situation to get worse and I disagreed.

I regret to say you were right, I was wrong.

I know people. A "person" is reasonable, rational, and clear-thinking most of the time. "People", well, don't get me ranting about "people" ;0)

To: Do not dub me shapka broham
comes down to someone's fundamental "due process" rights being disregarded by-to modify a popular liberal phrase-an imperial judiciary.

I have to disagree. The courts followed Florida law. The problem is the law, not judicial activism.
