I don't see the return of traditional Mass at the Vatican as the panacea for the problems the worldwide Church is currently facing.

It is not. However, it IS the necessary first step in the journey of a thousand miles. Christ said to put the Kingdom of Heaven first and all else will be added unto you.

I agree-the Novus Ordo Mass is essentially the Mass of Luther and it worships the person instead of God-perfect for this me me me generation. Why not devote 90 minutes, the lenght of a normal high mass to the worship of God and maybe our children will think twice, along with proper catechism taught by real instructors instead of those bent on their own liberal agendas (studies have found that over 75% of lay religious feel that contraception is morally OK as well as 60% as it pertains to abortion!).

We need an entire generation to repair the damage done by Vatican II and the liberal post Councillar Popes-JPII meant well and said things, but he never followed up on anything and was more worried about being liked than being a leader of the 1B Catholics.

As our Lord said in the Book Of John:

IF the world hateth you, know it had hateth me before
If you had been of this world, the world would love its own;but because you are not of this world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Rember, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they persecuted me than they shall persecute you.

When the secular media showed their love for JPII-was he really the Vicar of Christ? I dont mean that in a sede thing-but was he really a leader? No he was not.
