Assuming this event ever took place in the first place, it is a long stretch to assume the aleged guys in the aleged pickup truck, administering the aleged beating, were Christians and whupped him because he was bad mouthing Fundamentalists. Unless of course the assumption is that the aleged good ol' boys, are aleged to be Fundamentalist Islamites, in which case the Prof would be searching for his head, instead of being treated and released from the hospital.

What do you think of all this? I don't know where to begin--it's like reading a script, with most of the characters sounding alike.
