He became a nurse to take care of her.

Isn't that the point? He had the money from the insurance settlement to provide the best professional care possible, but he decides to nurse her? He nursed her to save the money. When he got tired of doing that, he decided that she needed to die. He wasn't qualified to nurse a sick frog, much less a person who needed the type of help that Terri did. BTW, how much nursing can a person do who brutalized his wife so badly? Oh, that's right, Terri kept falling down the same set of stairs.

It was Terri Michael who said that Terri said she didn't want to live like that. Oh, and his brother and his sister-in-law.

Whether Terri said anything can be disputed over and over. What cannot be disputed is that Terri never gave informed consent one way or the other. And she couldn't have, as when she collapsed, food and water administered via a feeding tube was considered ordinary and not extraordinary care. The law didn't change until 1999, after Michael has begun his petition to have her feeding tube removed.

Still, it wouldn't be such a big deal if they had just offered the woman food and water by mouth, but Judge Greer nixed that.

"Still, it wouldn't be such a big deal if they had just offered the woman food and water by mouth, but Judge Greer nixed that."

And why was that? Because it was tested three times I believe and the results were she couldn't take in water or food by mouth.

"He nursed her to save the money."

How do you know that? Where is that documented?

Keep repeating the same tired lies....you don't care about facts, anyway.

You can't argue with these people. They have their line...they ignore the facts and then when the facts don't match up to their theories...they have no problem just making them up. Save youself the frustration of pointing out the truth and let them have their big circle jerk on this one.

Terri had at least one ubiquitous ulcer (bedsore) that I'm aware of, around Feb.1994.

ROFLMAO! Have you ever taken care of someone who is bedridden?

Where's the autopsy? Why did he have her cremated so fast?

Do you have an alternative theory? He nursed her because he was the best person for the job? He cared so much?

His whole behavior in this sordid affair was reprehensible. He should be ashamed of himself. The facts that are known speak for themselves.

Yeah, there's a lot that we will never know. Whatever abuse comes the husbands way is well deserved.

Nope. Not true.

She was NEVER tested for survival or feeding, unless you count the murderers (er, paid-pro-death-doctors) hired to kill to her.

I agree with you that he is probably incapable of love. Michaels demeanor reminds me of a Scott Peterson/O.J. Simpson type. I had chills when he did the smirky/odd interview on Larry King where he talked of putting his wife's cats to sleep and making her rings into a ring for himself. It was during that interview that I wondered how Jody could not see him as he is, he was smiling and smirking and sending digs to Terri's family. He was not acting the part of a concerned husband in any way. Any doubts I may have had about his intentions were laid to rest when I saw that interview.

I don't deal in theories... just facts.

I see what you mean. Sheesh. Now I have been branded a murderer. Give me a break. Even the autopsy proved she was brain dead. And as for the insurance money, he spent it all on her care. My dad read for many, many years about what Michael was trying to do for his wife in the local news before the MSM and his parents turned it into what it has become. A witch hunt. As for letting the parents take care of her, I believe, she wouldn't have wanted to live her life out that way either.

Her parents had the opportunity to care for her. They rejected it - too much trouble.

Please, she didn't choke on her own saliva. Those tests were performed in the early years, and there were caregivers who said she could suck from a washcloth. She may have still needed help, but she could swallow without choking. It all depends on how fast you deliver the liquid. There was also new stimulation therapy that was never even tried.

Keep trying to make yourself feel better about her death. Give yourself an award or something. Here, I'll give you a pat on the back: Terri's gone now. I'm sure you're smiling about that.

Terri Schiavo's former husband has married his longtime girlfriend, friends and family members say.

Low life or not, that's his and her right to do so. Or isn't it?

Nobody's celebrating Mrs. Schiavo's death. No one's smiling. How about redirecting your hyperbole to some other issue?
