I do think you have nailed it on the issue of who Karen is. It is the Prosecutor. It sure seems very likely that the Kalpoes made some sort of "deal" with the Prosecutor and their attornies. And if I recall correctly, it was around this very time that Karen Janssen was complaining that "Paulus Van der Sloot was interfering with her case". What I would like to know however is WHO, intervened on PVDS's behalf to arrange to cherry pick that precise Curacao judge. The very one who PVDS knew would rule in HIS favour. These later questions of course STILL remain unanswered.

On January 6, 2006 "FOX News” presented another segment of the 1-2 interview with BETH where she shared details from her journal entries. BETH stated she started her journal on 6-5. BETH stated sometime during the third week to the end of June 2005, BETH DAVE, and JUG were able to meet with ARUBAN prosecutor JANSSEN. Two attorneys, VINDA DE SOUSA and PETER MOHAMMED, accompanied NATALEE’s Loved Ones, and the attorneys also helped translate DUTCH written documents into English that JANSSEN allowed them to see. As the attorneys were verbally translating the documents into English, BETH stated she took notes for her journal. JANSSEN stayed only long enough to provide which documents she allowed the attorneys to view. BETH did not realize until later--when Prime Suspect J. SLOOT changed his alibi-lies again and started accusing Current Suspect D. KALPOE of raping, murdering and burying NATALEE--that JANSSEN had not given them all Suspects statements up to the end of June. One such statement was made 6-9 at 12:00 pm by Prime Suspect J. SLOOT. BETH stated that in this statement Prime Suspect J. SLOOT claimed he bought NATALEE some 151-proof rum, that she had been drinking, how they left Carlos ‘n Charlies, that they went to the lighthouse because “Natalee wanted to go there to see sharks,” and “he admits a lot of the sexual assaults that he commits against Natalee in the back seat of the Kalpoe’s car as she is falling asleep and waking up, repeatedly.” The sexual details that Prime Suspect J. SLOOT describes is very detailed and graphic, but after the sex ended at the lighthouse, the statement by Prime Suspect J. SLOOT is very short and ends abruptly with little details, with Prime Suspect J. SLOOT claiming “Natalee fell asleep. Natalee woke up. She wanted to go home.” Prime Suspect J. SLOOT then claims the “Holiday Inn” alibi-lies of the security guards, etc. BETH also described Prime Suspect J. SLOOT’s 6-10 statement which says little about what happened with NATALEE, but instead concentrates on how much he drinks (he needs 20 to 30 glasses or beers just to get intoxicated). Prime Suspect J. SLOOT also admitted that he was seeing a psychologist, which his mother confirmed to BETH and GRETA during the 6-21 meeting. BETH stated during that 6-21 meeting “Anita was beginning to express her concerns of not being able to manage Joran, and that he seems to be running the household, and not having any rules or regulations that he adheres to.” In an additional 6-10 statement Prime Suspect J. SLOOT changed his claims and said that Prime Suspect J. SLOOT was dropped off at his home, then Current Suspect D. KALPOE and Current Suspect S. KALPOE claimed they would take NATALEE back to the “Holiday Inn.” In this additional statement Prime Suspect J. SLOOT claims Former Suspect P. SLOOT advised him not to talk on the cellular phones, that they would be “bugged,” and Former Suspect P. SLOOT “coached the boys.

I agree Jossy does have an interest in Aruba returning to full tourism. However, I honestly believe that he truly HATES Van Der Sloot and a number of the other Dutch elites. And he genuinely does seem to want to see Justice for Natalee and by extension, her parents. I would LOOOOVVVE for Jossy to actually solve the case. Hehehehehe - how long do you think it would take for the Van der Sloots to flee to Holland???

Nuntuk, the ORIGINAL statements probably contain a lot of the real truth. Joran VDS WAS very graphic right from the night that Beth and crew landed at their doorstep. In fact, Jug stated that Joran admitted to him and his Alabama buddies that HE DID in fact have sex with Natalee, he described her lack of consciousness or fleeting consciousness, AND he described in detail both the embroidery on her underwear and some characteristic marking(s) relating to HER private parts. HOW, the sam hell, do these statement evolve into No sexual contact at all??? The whole world that is following this case knows that we are dealing with pathological liars here. Croes angry with Wever due to Dimas

ARUBA – Due to an incident that took place in the DINA-building last Friday, Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP) is angry with his colleague Booshi Wever (Immigration, MEP). Croes says that a group of employees were told to leave the building immediately and not to return. They were body searched when they left. Croes had sent Wever a letter in which he disapproves the action and asks questions about the ‘use of Gestapo methods’.

Croes writes that some ex-DINA-employees that were not selected for working with the new Dimas were told by Gerrit van der Hemert that they must leave the building immediately. They were body searched and told not to ever set foot again in that building.

Croes disapproves this procedure and is even of the opinion that this procedure is liable to punishment. “This is not acceptable. I expect a public apology of Van der Hemert to all the ex-employees of DINA”, said Croes to Wever.

In his letter he asks Wever who this Gerrit van der Hemert is, who thinks that he can treat and body search Aruban citizens like this in their own country. Doesn’t he know that we also have rights that apply to everybody in Aruba?” Croes also wonders whether Wever was aware of the plan to sent DINA-employees away and if Wever approves this.

Croes wants to know who gave the order to send this group of people away and with what authority. The group of DINA-employees that were sent away includes close employees of Croes and some family members.

Croes concludes his letter with “I find it hard to avoid the impression that, these people are being punished because they have supported me during the last elections. That is very bad.”

How about this as a scenario:

Joran has his way with Natalee going in and out of consciousness. Deepak gets out for his turn, but she awakes (and doesn't just want to go home, Joran) she flees the car, but drunk and semi-consciousness she falls.

Satish is sitting behind the wheel and as she first runs Joran and Deepak yell, "Go after her! Get her!" and Satish floors the car in reverse (hard to control), not realizing in time she has fallen, and hits her. Then Paulus is called to get these panicked boys off a very lethal hook. Steve Croes, who has a boat nearby, is called and paid (ATM withdrawals) to dump the body at sea, and is also incorporated into the lie, they "dropped her off at the Holiday Inn" alibi, so that there is a backup to this clever but hastily devised story. Rape, manslaughter, accessories after the fact: although in proscuting this case, it should be argued that any death caused by an intentional rape or the commission of a felony level crime, regardless of circumstances, is always murder, just not in the first degree (premeditated).

First Aruba claimed it was to mark the road in a not so well lighted area.
Then it became installation of a sign. Yet no sign appears there.
Would these reasons require sniffer dogs and men in bio suits? Not in my neighborhood.

Now the story is it was a body recovery of an old corpse determined to be a 7 year old child.
