Smart move! Yesterday the CD was #560,505 in sales at amazon.com. Today? It's #7,037 #4,860 #3412 #1584 and climbing hourly. (And Clive Davis is gonna take a pass on this boy?) I can't tell exactly which tracks Elliott participated on, but my money is definitely on at least tracks seven and nine."

Well, you've entered an AI THREAD, where we talk AI instead of politics. So naturally, the focus is on the show and not larger issues. AI is a hobby and an escape for those of us here at FR who need a break sometimes from all the heavy serious stuff we read and discuss here on the majority of other threads. It doesn't mean we don't have our priorities straight and need lecturing.

OK.. so who says that she is the most powerful woman in the world?? The US Press??? Does she need to connect her name to AI to have some of the "power" rub off on her?
The impact AI has is recreational... nothing more..
I know Rice so she knows my position... she could be truly a God send for us... but first, the State Department has to shape up and follow the President's agenda... she has not been able to move her department into the President's agenda... but then.. this is a note for another thread...
By the way.. anyone is free to "diss" any public official.. without fear of "peril".. I do so hope that we have not limited our freedom of speech...
Back to the items at hand... let's have fun anointing "TAY" and dissing Katherine... no "peril" there!

You come on the thread and start bashing us for liking Hicks and for not going after him with hot tar and feathers for his comment about Clinton. YET Condi Rice says she likes him and rooted for him and is going t osend him a congratulatory letter and that's ok with you?
I'm not thrilled by what Hicks said, but, I'm waiting to see if there's a there there or not. He starts acting like the dipsy chicks then yeah, I think a lot of people will get off the Soul Patrol train.
Condi has a lot more power and pull than us peons. Why aren't you sending her a posion pen letter like you have been here with everyone else?

I have been working in Morocco and Nigeria.. so I have not been on.. just came back and caught the last month AI... really enjoyed the show, then jumped in to check out what my old FRiends were saying about AI.. when Rice and Clintons name surfaced.. it sort of got to me.. sorry if I offended you.. while I was gone, you have obviously gotten a bit touchy.. please accept my apology...

I try not to mention Clinton .. you did not read my post... Check it out... Taylor is a Clinton fan.... If you go back and read my post over the past years.. you will see I am a strong, productive, invested Republican... I work with DC and other international governments.. a large portion of my work is centered around cleaning up the messes from the former Administration... however, I reserve the right to express my opinion on any official.. including my own party..my problem, as you have pointed out... I am not able to do that on FR...

Nah. Anyway it's all of about 3 minutes or less of background singing on the entire CD. Hardly in the same ballfield.
